Knowing God Leads to a More Consecrated Life

When meditating on the Omniscience and Omnipresence of God the Psalmist not only breaks out in great praise and thankfulness, but he closes out this great Psalm with an urgent and humble request that God lead him to a more consecrated life. How does the knowledge we profess of God affect our life? Or do we merely possess an intellectual, barren and unfruitful knowledge?
