Echoes of Service: A Memorial Day Tribute.[Poem from My places & days in the service] John 15:13: "Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends."On this Memorial Day, we pause to honor the brave souls, whose sacrifice and valor, in our hearts forever hold. In fields of battle far and near, they fought with courage true, and to our fallen comrades, we offer this tribute anew.
From land, sea, and sky, they answered freedom's call, standing tall and steadfast, they gave their all. In Arlington's hallowed ground, where heroes silently rest, we bow our heads in reverence, their memory truly blessed.
To the soldiers of the Army, whose valor knew no bounds, To the sailors of the Navy, who sailed to distant grounds. To the marines of the Corps, whose spirit never waned, To the airmen of the Air Force, who soared where eagles trained.
And to the Coast Guardsmen brave, who braved the stormy seas, Each one a beacon of hope, each one a legacy. Though they may be gone, their spirit still lives on, In the hearts of those they loved, in the dawn's early song.
