"Ye are my friends." The King of kings and Lord of lords not only pities and saves all them that believe in Him, but actually calls them His friends! What encouragement this should give us to pour out our hearts to Him in prayer! What comfort this should give us in trouble. Will He not minister of His own mercy and grace to His friends? For the greater love has been shown to you already, as He laid down His life, so certainly He shall answer the prayers of His friends.
