A Call to Remember and Persevere

Jude indicated that the false teachers were among the "scoffers" the apostolic prophesies condemned. He then turns from denunciation of the false teachers to positive exhortation of his readers. Although God preserves believers in faithfulness to him (verse 24), he does not do so apart from his means of grace and their earnest striving in that grace.
