Prayer Request 2: Christ in Your Heart

I. That Christ may dwell in your hearts
A. This is not an evangelistic plea
1. The error of “asking Jesus into your heart”
B. But Jesus does dwell in the heart of Christians

C. A Gospel call to repentance and faith

II. Why does Paul pray that Christ might dwell in the heart of
Christians when He already does?
A. That Christ would be more real and regnant
1. It is a matter of degrees

III. Through Faith
