Women in the Church

In this text we learn that men and women have both been created equal in value by God, but not in role. Paul addresses the role of women in a church and how women should not exercise authority over a man, basing his argument back to the order of creation. This text also encourages women to focus on what is proper to profess godliness such as their inward beauty rather than solely their outer appearance. May Christ be glorified as women work to fulfill the role created for them by our loving Savior as "both men and women are given indispensable roles in the achievement of God's ultimate purposes" (quote by John Piper).
