The Gift of Spiritual Blessings

Although God is more than sufficient to meet all our needs, verse 3 concentrates on our spiritual blessings, not the physical or material. If we understand what we have in Christ, who we are in Him, then our hearts ought to be filled with gratitude, praise and adoration. He is the author and giver of every spiritual blessing that we have.
The Father is the giver, the Son is the blessing but it is the Spirit that takes what the Father has given us, in Christ, and now makes it available for us to walk in these blessings. Christ is, therefore, the spiritual blessing.
Christ is our spiritual life, our spiritual light, love longings and liberty. To appropriate theses spiritual blessings we must not put our physical needs above the spiritual.
