Why parables? The large, diverse crowds that desired to hear Christ presented Him with a challenge. How to communicate to such a spiritually diverse group? One approach He used was Parables, a timeless method of Divine genius. They "tease us into active thought about our lives" and are saturated with the heart of Christ and never grow old.
