Saying amen. All right, you're almost there. Missing some people this morning. I hope they didn't hook you out and go down the shore or something like that. Because the sun finally popped out. I think it's, we had like three days of sun all of the month so far. And my wife was saying April's supposed to be the month of showers, April showers, May flowers. But it looks like we're a month behind or whatever because it's May showers. It's just been raining and raining and raining. 1 Corinthians chapter 3. Are you all there? Starting in, I don't know, let me see. We'll start right in verse 10. It says, according to the grace of God, which is given unto me, Apostle Paul writing, as a wise master builder, I have laid the foundation and another buildeth thereon. But let every man take heed how he builds their own. I want you to understand that verse because God's telling us, each and every one of us, we got to take heed. We got to pay attention. We got to know what we're doing. It says, for other foundation can no man lay than that is laid, which is, say in church, Jesus Christ. That's it. That's what our rock, that's our foundation. Now, if any man build upon this foundation, which is built upon Christ, gold, silver, precious stones, wood, hay, stubble, every man's work How many people's work? Everybody. Man, woman, and child. Every man's work shall be made manifest. It means revealed. For the day shall declare it. Remember, it says to declare it. The day. What day is He speaking of? Judgment Day. Not the judgment of the sinners, but the judgment of the saints. It's talking about the great, not the great white throne of judgment where people will be judged for their sins, but the judgment seat of Christ Jesus that we're going to see. And I know you've already heard it many times. We all must appear there. Please let the terror of the Lord, because it is a terrible thing to fall into the hands of a living God, someone that knows you better than anyone knows you. He knows your every thought. He knows your every intent. He knows your every deed. He knows everything that you don't want anyone else to know. He knows it all. And that's who you're gonna stand before. And we just read that everything, it says, every man's work shall be made manifest for the day shall declare it. That means it's gonna be declared for everybody to hear. That means all the people in heaven will hear it. All the people, all the saints will hear it. All the angels will hear it. All the powers will hear it. All the principalities will hear it. Why do you think God wants every being in heaven to hear about what you did. Why do you think? Anybody? Because He wants them, when He gives you rewards for what you did, He wants the whole world to know you deserve it. Just like Jesus, He received all glory and honor and praise. Why? Because He is worthy. Why is He worthy? It says, who was and is and shall be, who was dead and is now alive again. We have the Lord's table. We take the communion to show forth His death till He comes. We let all the earth know that the Son of God died on that cross, amen, for the sins of everyone. He was buried and He rose again, amen. And because He did all that, because of His works on earth, He went into heaven and God the Father gave him all power and all glory. He sits with all the power there is in heaven, it's all Jesus Christ, you understand that? Now we're gonna stand before him and he's gonna give us that power, whatever power we deserve. So when he gives us our rewards, he wants every power and every principality and every dominion to see we are worthy. And so that's what we're here for. We're here to get worthy. We're here to receive, take heed how you build. And so you want to build with gold, silver, and precious stone, and less as much as wood, hay, and stubble. As we've been learning, wood, hay, and stubble is not bad. It's just you're not going to get rewards for it. It's stuff that you do for the Lord, for church, for good, that you're doing under the wrong pretense, or you're doing it for the wrong reason. Can I get an amen? Because God, remember this verse, it says the Word of God knows your thoughts and your intents. even when you do something. And but your intention is something else. God sees it. Amen. You can't get away from him. And he's going to reward you openly according to what you really deserve. So what we want to do, it is a terrifying thing. But what we want to do is we want to learn that now. And when we get there, we'll have more rewards than loss. Amen. And then we're going to be like, praise God for Pastor Mike. Teach me this on that Sunday. Because if I didn't know this, I would have went out thinking that I'm going to get all these rewards and everything gets burned up because of my intentions. Amen. So keep reading. It says in verse 14, If any man's work abide which he has built thereupon, he shall receive a reward. See, it's all about the gold, the silver, and the precious stone. If any man's work shall be burned, he shall suffer loss. It doesn't mean he's gonna feel pain. He's gonna suffer the loss of the rewards. Do you understand that? Because you've done so much good in the church. You did so good. Like, I'm just going to get prepped. Joe's been here every day, young Joe and old Joe last week. But this week, Joe's been here like every day, Ken, working by himself, quiet, not saying anything, whether it's by himself or with helpers. And nobody even knows it, except a few of us. I'm just saying, God knows it. Now if Joe was doing it, I don't care if he, big Joe, little Joe, Ed, Anton, doesn't matter who you are. If you're doing something in church, that's a good thing, amen? But if you're doing it to get noticed, so everyone will say, wow, what a good guy you are. God's like, guess what? You just got your rewards. So we do it, we're doing it for who? For Him. So everything you do, just do it for God. Do it because you love God. Amen? Hey listen, do I want to do this? No, but I'm doing it for you God. Why? Because I love you. You know, why does a man get up and go to work for the rest of his entire life and serve his family and give his family a home and put a roof over their head and give the food on the table and clothes on the table and this and 401ks and retirement and make sure? Why? Because it's his duty and his responsibility to take care of his family. So therefore, when we are Christians, it's our duty and our responsibility to do it for God. All right, so that said, keep reading what it says. It says in verse 15, if any man's work shall be burned, he shall suffer loss, but he himself shall be saved, yet so as by fire. That means the fire is gonna try you, even if you have no rewards, did nothing right, you're gonna be saved because you have Jesus inside of you. And Jesus is pure gold, the love of God, amen, amen. So it says verse 16 is what I want you to pick up right tonight, today. Know you not? He's saying, don't you know that you are the temple of God and that the Spirit of God dwells in you, lives in you? See, what he's telling you is how is God going to judge you? He's going to judge you because His Spirit lives in you. You can't get away from it. You can't hide from God your intentions. You can't hide from God your heart. You can hide it from me. You can hide it from everyone in the world. You can even hide it from you. You can't hide it from God. So what each and every child of God has to do is be honest and open with our feelings and our hearts. And when you're starting to get maybe some remorse or some anger or bitterness or envy or strife, you go to God and say, Lord, this is building up in me. God, what does the Bible say? Cast all your cares on him so that you can get it out and get it out and let the Holy Spirit minister to you. What does the Holy Spirit minister to us? He ministers grace and truth to us. He's called the Spirit of Truth. And that's what we have to live in truth each day. And we have to live by the Spirit of God revealing to us our thoughts and our intents. Because in all reality, we can go through whole life and thinking, I'm a good person, I did all this good work, and get to heaven and get no rewards. And that's not what God wants. He wants us to receive the rewards, and you do it because of who you really are inside. And you can fool me and you can fool yourself, but you can't fool God. Amen? So when you find out that, hey, listen, I'm not the person I want to be, that's when you, it's good because, you know, they say first you have to come to, what is it, realize the truth. What is it, AA, what do they say? No. The very first thing, acknowledge the truth or something. What is it? Amit. Amit. Amit you're a sinner. Amit that you have a problem. And that's what it is. If you don't admit you have a problem of maybe envy or strife or I'm jealous, then you're never going to fix the problem. Amen? All right. So keep reading. Look at what it says. It says in verse 16, know you not that you are the temple of God and that the Spirit of God dwells in you? If any man defile the temple of God, what's the temple? Yeah, our bodies. Him shall God destroy. That's a very tough saying here. It says, for the temple of God is holy. Which temple I am, not you. No, which temple you are. See, we have to get our minds, renew our minds, and get the thoughts and the truth of what God says, not what we think or feel or believe or want to think or feel. You are the temple of the living God. He lives inside of you. And you better be holy. At least try to be. Amen? Isn't that really what it's all about? It's not about being perfect. It's, I'm trying to be. It's not about being good, even though you can be. I'm trying to be. It's not, you know what I mean? It's like, who, see, because God sees that you're trying or not trying. God sees that you care or you don't care. And let's just get down to it, because all this is going to be revealed when it's too late. Amen? And look what he says. We'll finish reading down. It says in verse 18, let no man deceive himself. You see that? Because that's what happens, we deceive ourselves, John. I'm good, I'm fine, I'm all right. I don't have an attitude, I don't really, that's not me. And I'll tell you right now, that's what the Spirit of God dwells in us, is trying to speak to us. Don't you believe if God dwells in you, and I know He does, He wants to speak to you? He wants to speak to you in your conscience. That's what happens, when you got born again, the Spirit of Christ came into you and your conscience now became alive. Your spirit inside you now is alive and you're aware of good and evil. You're aware of what I should do and what I shouldn't do. You're aware of it now. Your eyes are open. You're awake, right? Anytime like, I know, oh man, I shouldn't have said that. Oh man, I shouldn't have done that. Oh, that's not good. And you're walking in the spirit and you realize the spirit's revealing to you and you're making you holy. And he's getting rid of all the, the fence of stuff, and all the sin, and all the, what's it called, the dross, and he's making something pure. So that when you do, one day we do stand before the Lord. He's going to say, well done, thou good and faithful servant. And he's going to reward us great things. And we're going to realize it wasn't us that did it. It was the Spirit of God that was in us doing it. But the problem is so many people strive against the Spirit. They don't want to hear it. Why? Because it says, don't deceive yourself. They rather say to themselves, I'm all right, I'm all right, when you're not all right. God knows I love him when you don't love him. God knows, you know what I mean? Like, I care when you don't care. Are you with me? Are you with me? Look what it says. It says, let no man deceive himself. If any man among you seems to be wise in this world, let him become a fool that he may be wise. For the wisdom of this world is foolishness of God. For it is written, he takes the wise in their own craftiness. And again, the Lord knoweth the thoughts of the wise that they are vain. You know what he's saying here? He's talking about Christians' vanity. You know what vanity is? Vanity is the lack of substance to fulfill your desire. Vanity is doing something and never getting the real result. It's like eating food and never getting the nourishment from it. It does you no good. And that's exactly what he's saying, is all the things that you can do for God, all the things that you can help the little old ladies cross the street, put money in the plate, you know, say your little prayers and come to church, and all the things that you think are doing you good, it's all vain if you're not doing it for the right reasons and purpose. And that's what Christ does. He comes into our hearts and He gives us a new heart. And all of a sudden, our heart kind of cares. And our heart wants to do right. And if you'll follow that and let God lead you, it's a beautiful thing. Because you start to become pure. You start to have a pure heart. And when you have a pure heart, you can see God. And you see God in everything. And you hear God. And you have faith, more faith in God. And you have peace. And you have joy and love because you know that I'm, you know, God, He lives in me. He dwells in me. I'm His temple. And the truth of the matter is, is I want everyone in this world to realize if this is true, and it is, you are the temple of the Holy God, should you defile your body? The Bible says no. because your body's holy, it's God's temple, his living place. Should you defile? You don't need me to define it, but I'll define it. Tattoos and piercings and markings and making your body into a graffiti wall is not what God intended for your body. Making God, you put holes all through your body and tires in your ears and through your lips and through your noses, not what God intended for your body. That's what the world tells you, do you understand that? That's all the world's stuff, none of that is God's stuff. And we have to realize that our bodies, He now lives in. I'll finish it, because I want to get to the verses. It says in verse 21, therefore, let no man, glory in men, For all things are yours, whether Paul, or Apollos, or Cephas, or the world, or life, or death, or things present, or things to come, all are yours, and you are Christ's, and Christ is God's. Now, I'm not here to explain that, but I'll give you a little in detail. When he says all are yours, that means everything that you do since you've been born again that you can benefit from, get rewards from, earn from God, be a blessed by God, all things are yours to do what with. And that's the thing is how you treat this world, why you treat this world, is what God sees and how you're going to be rewarded. Like you can go on vacations all you want and have fun all you want, but if you do it in the right mind and the right heart for God, that's fine. All things are yours. Everything we have in this world, God's given to us to enjoy. And I'll tell you right now, how many people are glad they woke up this morning? We ought to give God the glory for that. How many people are glad you had hot water to take a shower? Amen. Had soap, maybe had something to eat. How many people are glad for coffee in the morning? Thank you, Jesus. You know, it's like we have so much we ought to give no matter what it is. All things are ours. Everything in this world is for our enjoyment. Do you understand that? And so, but the problem is when it starts to become, oh, I want that, I want that, you know what I mean? Then all of a sudden, okay, you got that, but you're not getting any rewards. All we need to do for precious stones is give God the glory for it all. Thank you, Jesus, for this coffee. Thank you, Jesus, for my vacation. Thank you, Jesus, for my house. Thank you, Jesus, for my grass. Thank you, Jesus, I got a lawn mower, right, Tony? Thank you, Jesus, I got new glasses to put on. Thank you. We should be living, you know, and a constant state of thanksgiving amen thank you lord thank you lord another reward another reward another reward another reward like up there you're earning rewards because you're giving god all the glory all the time and god's like now Now that's what I'm talking about. That's why I gave you a beautiful day. That's why I gave you mountains and sunshine. That's why I gave you fruit and food and Chinese food and Mexican food all in one day. That's why I gave you watermelons and peaches. Amen. That's why I gave you one another and gave you a church. That's why. You see what I'm getting at? All things are ours. And so we need to enjoy it and praise God for it all. And God's like, that's what I'm talking about. That's what I'm talking about. Jing, jing, jing, jing. And you're earning rewards. It's so simple. But when it's all about you and van, it's vain. I want you to start looking at some verses if you would, please. I want you to look at me. Second Corinthians chapter six. And then from there, I'm going to Ephesians two. 2nd Corinthians chapter 6, I know it's not that far. If you look in verse 16 with me, it says, and what agreement has the temple of God, what is the temple of God? Our bodies, us. So what agreement has the temple of God with idols? For you are the temple of the living God. As God has said, I will dwell in them and walk in them and I will be their God and they shall be my people. You see, you can't get any clearer than that. That's why one day you're gonna stand before the Lord and he's gonna reward you for the temple that you've been. Turn with me if you would please to Ephesians chapter two. Ephesians chapter two verse 21. And 22, it says, in whom all the building fitly framed together groweth, it grows, unto a holy temple unto the Lord, in whom ye, that's you, also are built together for a habitation of God through what? Through the Spirit. The Spirit of God, it says, is the candle of the Lord. The Spirit of man is the candle of the Lord, searching everything about your heart. and about your mind. And that's why we need to take this seriously. That's why it says, renewing your mind. Give me a clean heart, David said. David fell into sin and in lusts, amen? And he thought nobody knew. And then God sent him a prophet and said, you're the man, when he gave that little thing about the sheep. You know that story? You guys know that story? If you don't, it's a good little story. David saw Bathsheba, he took her, she got her pregnant, found out that she's the wife of one of his captains, brought the captain back, got him drunk, told him, go lay with your wife, so when she gets in the belly, he says, oh, well, you did it, you slept with her. But the guy wouldn't sleep with her. He said, no, my men are sleeping in mud holes. He tried it again, got him drunk again. Finally, the guy wouldn't do it. He sent him to the front lines with a note to Joab, the captain of the host, and said, put him up in the front line. And went, this guy rubbed out. Then he murdered him. And then he took his wife. And then that baby ended up dying. And so he's sitting on the throne as David, the main man, and God sends him a prophet. And David says, what can I do for you, Nathan? He says, oh, man, we've got a problem. He says, what is it? He said, well, there's this man. poor. He's got nothing but one little baby sheep. And he loves that lamb. It sleeps with him. It eats with him. It's like his daughter loves that lamb. He says, yeah. He says right next to him is a rich guy. He's got a thousand lambs. He's got all kinds of stuff, everything you want. And he had friends come over. And instead of taking one of his own lambs, he went and took that guy's lamb and he killed it and they ate it. And David got mad. He went, he deserves to die. That man deserves to die. And the prophet goes, you're the man. David went, oh my goodness, and he fell on his face and repented and he wrote Psalm 51. And he said this, he said, restoring to me the joy of my salvation, renew a right spirit within me, give me a clean heart, oh Lord. And that's what happens is we got to realize we get dirty. And our hearts get dirty, and our minds get dirty, and we get cold, and we start to just not care about the things of God like we should. And so that's why we need to realize these things, that the Holy Spirit's in there, and He sees it all. And we need to love Him more, and we need to praise Him more. Let's turn with me, please, to John chapter 14, the book of John. John 14, verse 17, say amen when you're there. John 14, 17, Jesus is speaking and says, even the spirit of truth. See, the Holy Spirit, you can't lie to him, you can't deceive him, you can't pull a fast one on him. How many times have you done something and you went, yeah, but I didn't really mean it? To yourself. Or, yeah, it wasn't a big deal. Or, you know, like you try to convince yourself that, eh, it wasn't that bad, and the Holy Spirit's like, And I don't want to talk stupid, like say, dude, but the Holy Spirit's like, buddy, I know everything, what you're really thinking. And that's why we need to like, oh my goodness, you know, and just be right and just be honest with ourselves. And we can't be honest with ourselves. You know what I mean? I want you to look what it says in verse 17. It says, even the spirit of truth whom the world cannot receive because it sees him not, neither knoweth him. But you know, for he dwells with you and shall be in you. I will not leave you comfortless. I will come to you. Yet a little while, and the world sees me no more, but you see me. Because I live, you shall live also. At that day, I'm sorry, at that day you shall know that I am in the Father, and ye in me, and I in you. He that has my commandments and keeps them, he it is that loves me. And he that loveth me shall be loved of my Father, and I will love him, and will manifest myself to him. I just want you to realize that this is real. Look in verse 23. Jesus answered and said unto him, if a man love me, he will keep my words. and my father will love him, and we will come unto him and make our abode with him. He that loveth me not keepeth not my sayings, but the word which you hear is not mine, but the father's which sent me. These things have I spoken unto you, being yet present with you, but the comforter which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name. He shall do what? Teach you all things and bring all things to your remembrance whatsoever I've said unto you." See, that's what the Holy Spirit's one of his jobs is, is to speak to us and teach us and let us know the truth about ourselves, amen? Look in 1 John chapter 4, 1 John chapter 4. 1 John chapter 4, look in verse 12 with me, please. It says, no man has seen God at any time. If we love one another, God dwells in us, and his love is perfected in us. I want you to realize that word. He's saying his spirit dwells in us, God dwells in us, and his love that came into us, right, perfects us. That's why we're supposed to be getting made perfect. Perfect in what? In love. Because love is the key to it all. What is gold? Loving God. Doing anything out of love of God. What is silver? Anything you do out of love of one another. You know, you go and you cut your neighbor's grass, you help the person a flat tire. Whatever it is, love thy neighbor as thyself. And then look what he says in verse 13. He says, Hereby know we that we dwell in him, and he in us, because he has given us of his Spirit. And we have seen and do testify that the Father sent the Son to be the Savior of the world. Whosoever shall confess that Jesus is the Son of God, God dwells in him, and he in God. And we have known and believed the love that God has to us. God is love, and he that dwells in love dwells in God, and God in him. Herein is our love made perfect, that we may have boldness in the day of judgment, because as He is, so are we in this world. You see what he just said? That we may have boldness in that day, the day we're talking about, 1 Corinthians chapter 3, and when we're talking about the judgment seat of Christ, when everything gets burnt, that we may have boldness in that day. Why? Because I did everything out of love. And that is a perfect thing with God. Amen? Turn with me, please, if you would, to Matthew 24. You guys with me today? You learning something? You getting it? Good, good, good. Matthew chapter 24 verse 2. Tell me when you're there. It says, And Jesus said unto them, See ye not all these things? Now, if you want to look in verse 1, it says in verse 1, And Jesus went out and departed from the temple. And his disciples came unto him to show him the buildings of the temple. Now we're talking about the real physical temple in Jerusalem. It says, and Jesus said unto them, see not all these things? Verily I say unto you, there shall not be left here one stone upon another that shall not be thrown down. Why do you think I read that? Because in 1 Corinthians chapter 3, it says, he that defiles the temple shall be destroyed. Here, the temple, the real temple, the whole building, God destroyed completely everything. So don't think he won't destroy you. I've seen it. I've seen it, I've seen it, men and women of God that start to do things that the Holy Spirit tells them not to do, and they do it anyway, and their lives get destroyed. You know why? Because the Bible says that the thief, the devil, comes not but to rob, to kill, and to destroy. And there's nothing worse than seeing a pastor, a preacher, evangelist, missionary, teacher, deacon, someone of God, that one time was doing it, and now their lives are destroyed. because they would not listen to the Holy Spirit of God speaking to them. Amen. Turn with me to 2 Corinthians chapter 5. 2 Corinthians chapter 5 in verse 10. For we must, you see that word must? This is what's definitely going to happen to each and every one of us, to me and to you, to my children and your children that are saved. It says, for we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ. Why? That everyone may receive the things done in what? His body, according to that he has done, whether it be good or bad. Knowing, therefore, the terror of the Lord, we persuade men, but we are made manifest unto God, and I trust also are made manifest in your conscience." He's saying, I hope you see that what I'm trying to tell you, I live. You know what I mean? What I'm trying to preach to you, I'm trying to do myself. But the thing is, is every single one of us are going to stand before the Lord one day and we're all going to get whatever we deserve. And I'm not talking about hell because Jesus already took that. I'm not talking about sin. That was already taken away on the cross. I'm talking about rewards from God. But the thing is, remember, even I don't, I heard too many people say this and it bothered me. They say, I don't care as long as I can make it into heaven. No, you will care. You'll care so much. You'll have no idea how much you'll care then. Amen. Look at me in Romans chapter six, please. Romans six. Romans 6 verse 12, it tells us this. We've been lied to in so many different ways by the world that, I mean, think about it. How many times have we thought in our head, it doesn't really matter because God loves me. It doesn't really matter because God will forgive me. You know, it doesn't really, Tony, open that door. It doesn't really matter because, you know, this and that, but it does matter, and you can do it. Amen. That's all right. So it says in verse 12, let not sin therefore reign in your mortal body. that you should obey it in the lust thereof. So you don't have to obey it. That's what God's saying. Look in verse 13. Neither yield ye your members as instruments of unrighteousness unto sin. But yield yourselves unto God, as those that are alive from the dead, and your members as instruments of righteousness unto God. For sin shall not have dominion over you, for you are not under the law, but under grace. Look in Romans 7 verse 24. Romans 7 verse 24 says, O wretched man that I am! Who shall deliver me from the body of this death? I thank God through Jesus Christ our Lord. So then with my mind, I myself serve the law of God, but with the flesh, the law of sin. So are you gonna sin? Yes. You can't really help it, but you sure can fight against it. Don't, you sure can try, you don't give in to it. You don't yield yourself to, oh well, I can't stop so I'm just going to keep doing it. You don't ever stop fighting, amen? You don't ever stop trying to overcome. You don't ever stop, don't let the devil tell you, oh it's no good, because I know that you can do all things through Christ with strength. I know that you are more than conquerors in the Lord. God knows the truth, amen? And the truth is you are able to do above and beyond all things that you could ever even think or imagine if we would just remember and do the things that God tells us to do. Look in chapter 8. Chapter 8 of Romans, verse 13. It says, for if you live after the flesh, you shall die. But if you live through the Spirit, you do mortify the deeds of the body, you shall live. For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God. For you have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear, but you have received the spirit of adoption whereby we cry, Abba, Father. The Spirit itself bears witness with our spirit that we are the children of God. That is one of the most blessed things I could ever think is when my spirit witnesses to the Holy Spirit, I am saved. I am a child of God. I truly am born again. I'm not the same person. Did you ever have that and go through that? Isn't it wonderful when you got saved and you're living for God, but then you start to fall back in and you do this and you start to wonder and you start to doubt, am I really saved? And then you realize in your spirit inside of you says, gives you truth and bears witness with the Holy Spirit that you are the children of God. Not because you're perfect, but because you want to be. Not because you don't sin, but you don't want to sin. That's what we just, if you'd read the whole chapter of chapter 7 of Romans, he's like saying, every time I want to do good, I can't and I do bad. And when I want to do, when I try to do right, I do wrong. And he's like, what's wrong with me? And he's telling you because there's a battle going on. And he says, with my mind, I want to do right. My body keeps doing the wrong thing. And he says, oh, wretched man that I am, who's going to deliver me from this body? Jesus Christ. And it's not about you being perfect. It's about you trying to be perfect. Because I believe if you keep trying, you're going to win. If you're trying to overcome, Pornography, you're going to win. If you're trying to overcome alcohol, you're going to win. If you're trying to overcome drugs and drinking and cursing and gambling, you're going to win because you have the power in you to do it. But if you're lying and deceiving yourself, well, there I go, you're just lying and deceiving yourself. It's vain. You're not going to win anything. So what we need to do is walk in the spirit of truth. Amen? Let me hurry up and finish Romans chapter 12. Love this verse. We all know it, but we need to see it again in the light of what we've been just teaching. In verse 1, you there? It says, I beseech you, brethren. I beseech you, therefore, brethren. He's begging us by the mercies of God that you present your what? A living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service. And be not conformed to this world. but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God. I want you to think that, and it says in verse four, it says, as we have many members in one body and all members have not the same office, he goes on to talk about what we started with. Know you not that your body is the temple of the living God? and that the Holy Spirit of God dwells in you, and you know one day you're going to stand before the Lord Jesus Christ, and everything you've done in this body is going to be made manifest, whether good or bad. Not your sin, but everything you've done for the Lord. And that's what it is. It's not about your sins. Because when you sin, what are we told to do in the Bible? And what does the Bible actually say, 1 John chapter 1? Confess. It says, when you sin, right? It says, when you sin, it says, but if you say you haven't sinned, then you're a liar. It says, but if we confess our sins, He is faithful. And He is just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. That's the greatest thing in the world that we have a High Priest with us today. We have a Lord, a God, a King, a Master, the Creator of us, the Redeemer of us, our Savior and Lord. Amen? Whose Spirit is in us, and He's also in Heaven. Isn't that great? That God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. Isn't that great? I'm here to tell you, do you ever pray for someone and say, my prayers are with you? My thoughts are with you? Well, how can your thoughts be over there when they're in California and you'd be here? What do you think God's thoughts are? What do you think God's spirits are? And my point to that is we have a high priest who's in heaven ever making intercession for us. So when you've sinned and you will, what should you do immediately, Anton? Lord, I'm sorry, I should not have said that. Oh God, I shouldn't have thought that. Lord Jesus, this wretched man that I am, forgive me, wash me, cleanse me, and bam, you're washed and you're cleansed, and you get to start anew every time. You get to start anew, if need be, every minute. You know why I know that? Listen, we all struggle with this, and I struggle with it. I'm not saying I'm closer to God than you, but the closer you get to God, every little thing is big. Every little sin is big. You know, the farther you're away from God, only a real big sin. Hey, I probably shouldn't have done that. I probably shouldn't have went and got drunk. You know what I mean? Like, uh, hello? Duh. You know what I mean? We're like, what are you crazy? And the person that didn't like, that's not that big a deal. I'm getting, I shouldn't have probably smoked. I only had four cigarettes today. I'm just saying, you know how it is. If you're a smoker, you're like, you think it's a big deal that you only had four. You know, like, hey, I only had four. You shouldn't have any. But when you're farther away from God, that's that's a big deal. But the closer you get to God, like even my thought, I had a bad thought. Oh, no, I feel terrible. You know what I mean? And so the closer you get to God, your sin is more prevalent and you see it more. So whatever the Holy Spirit's telling the spirit of truth is like, You shouldn't have said that. You shouldn't have done that. You shouldn't have had that attitude. That's how we're supposed to live. And so how do I know that I can be forgiven all the time? Thank God. Thank you for this, Jesus. Because Jesus was asked, how many times should I forgive my brother? Seven times in a day? He said, no, 70 times in a day. Times seven. So 149 times a day. At least I know I got 149 times a day to say I'm sorry. My point is, he wouldn't tell us to do it if he doesn't do it. So you know, but you have to reveal the truth inside you. I should not have thought that about that person. Not like, eh, they deserve it. Eh, they're creeps anyway. Right, Kira? Right, they deserve it. Eh, she's a creep anyway. Hey, you know, that rock fell on their head and smashed their head. Good, because they weren't good people anyway. It's like, we have to balance everything with the spirit of truth. You know what I mean? Amen. Well, I'm going to finish right here. 1 Corinthians chapter 6, verse 18. It says, flee fornication. Every sin, every sin that a man doeth, that a man does, is without the body. But he that commits fornication sins against his own body. What? Know you not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost, which is in you? What, you don't know that? Which you have of God, and you are not your own. Why am I not my own? You've been bought with a price. What is the price that bought you? The blood of God's own Son. Think about that price that paid for you, for your body. Look what it says. You are bought with a price. Therefore, because of that, glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are what? God's. See, I'm just letting you know, we cannot sit there and say we're ignorant. I didn't know. I didn't know. Your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit. It's not even your body. People say, I'll do what I want with my body. It's not your body. Not if you're born again. Not if you've been purchased by the blood. You know why he needs to purchase our body? How many people are in this room are saved today? Did he save your body or did he save your soul? Saved your soul. But what's he gonna do with your body? He's gonna resurrect it. So it's his body. So not only, so he saved your soul and then he comes into your soul so that your soul wants to do good in its body. So the body is bought as well, because body, soul, and spirit is God's. I am all of His. I'm not half of His. I didn't say, God, I'll give you my soul, thanks for saving it, but my body's mine. God, I'm going to give you my soul, but my heart's mine. God, I'm going to give you, here, you take my soul and seal it, and make sure I don't go to hell. Thank you, Jesus, for that. But I'm going to live my life the way I want. You see what I'm saying? You're either His or you're not. And the truth of the matter is, stop thinking your body is yours, because it's not. It's His. So how should you dress His body? Think about it. You don't have to answer out loud. You don't have to answer out loud. How should you dress His body? How should you take care of His body? I'm just saying. We can't just eat whatever we want, whenever we want, however we want. We can't. God said, I'll destroy that body that defiles itself. Everyone thinks I can do whatever I want. No, you can't. You're going to pay for it. Amen? Let's finish up with prayer. O Holy Father God in Heaven, our Father, thank You, thank You, thank You, Father God, for allowing us to be born of You. Thank You, Father, for Thy Son Jesus, that was sent and born of a woman, that was 100% man and 100% God, that in His body of flesh, He took away my sin. He paid for the sin that is in my flesh. He paid for it all. And by his soul that he offered, my soul was forgiven. And by his blood, I am purchased. Lord, thank you for his life. Thank you for his death. Thank you for his burial. Thank you for his dissension. And thank you for his resurrection. And Lord, thank you for his eternal life. He is alive forever in heaven right now, ever making intercession for us. He is our high priest. He's our Master, our Lord, and our God. One day, and He is our King, and one day, He's coming back. And He is going to rule and reign, and I, and all your people, I want us to be ready for that day, to be able to bow before you and say, Lord, I'm ready to serve you. Lord, please be with your church today. Bless the people that show up today. I pray that you bring more and more out. I pray, Lord, you bless. Thank you for Beverly being here. God, fill her with the Holy Ghost of God. Thank you so much for someone that comes to be a help and a blessing. Thank you for everyone, Lord, that does what you want them to do. Help us, Lord, to do, to be who you want us to be. In Jesus' name we pray. Amen.
