our study of Luke chapter 6 verse 38 titled give and it shall be
given unto you This is part one of two Before we get into study. We'll start with our current
events update Corona balona The virus is real The statistics
are not. I want to say this. We're still
looking at all the evidence. I sent out a video link to a
few of you that I thought of and had your text and everything. But the man who discovered the
HIV virus has studied this coronavirus and he says it's manipulated
and basically man-made. that they took the virus and
they added strands of HIV DNA and malaria, something like that. I don't know all the science
behind that, but we're watching it, we're reading it, we'll continue
to report on it. So the reason I'm referring to
this as Corona bolona is not that the virus isn't real, but
that the statistics are not. This is one of the reports that
came out just yesterday. As US coronavirus death toll
mounts, so does the belief by some that it is exaggerated. Well, there are some who just
believe whatever they're told to believe, and there are others
who check what they're told against the science, against the facts.
And so I wonder what would cause that. What would cause people
to think that the statistics are exaggerated? Well, maybe
it's something like this. There are other countries that
if you had a pre-existing condition, And let's say the virus calls
you to go to the ICU and then have a heart or kidney problem.
Some countries are recording that as a heart issue or a kidney
issue and not a COVID-19 death. Right now, we're still recording
it. And we all, I mean, the great
thing about having forms that come in and a form that has the
ability to market as COVID-19 infection The intent is right
now that if someone dies with COVID-19, we are counting that. Get that? It's not that you died
because of COVID-19. I mean, it's as dumb as saying,
let's say I had a toothache, and then I go out and step in
front of the COTA bus and get run over. They report my death
as death with toothache. That's the implication there. Someone that has a heart attack
and they had COVID-19, they're listing their death as death
with COVID-19. They didn't die from it. They
died and a lot of people are asymptomatic when they have COVID.
So in a lot of these cases, these people weren't even showing symptoms
of COVID, but because they died with it, that's what's going
on in the statistics. Now last week, she said this,
that she believed coronavirus death toll was inflated by up
to 25%. I think it's worse than that. But this is a quote from her.
She told the CDC director Robert Redfield this, quote, there is
nothing from the CDC that I can trust. Everything going on right now,
everything your governor has basically, Governor DeWine has
given most of the authority to an unelected liberal named Acton,
Dr. Acton, as the health director.
Now think of that. The Republican Party wonders
why people love Donald Trump and despise them. We voted for
a pro-life governor. What did Rino DeWine do? A pro-abortion liberal as the
health director calling the shots. It's disgusting. You know any Republicans in Columbus
in the party? Tell them, they're disgusting. We elect people who say one thing
and do another. That's why Trump won, because
he said the same thing. He talked about the Bushes and
the Republican Party being as bad as the Democrats. That's
why he won, because people are sick of it. And the numbers are already being
revised downward. In the state of Colorado, as
an example, just yesterday they announced they amend their death
count for coronavirus, says fewer have died of COVID-19 than previously
reported. Here's the quote from the article.
The change came after Colorado's Department of Public Health admitted
that its COVID-19 death toll was counting those who tested
positive for the coronavirus but had died of other causes,
just like Burks had just said. That was reported by Fox 31 in
Denver. Quote, the department now says
1,150 Coloradans who died had COVID-19 but only 878 of those deaths
were due to COVID-19. That looks closer to more of
a third than 25%. I just read in Ohio, the number
of deaths in Ohio is currently at 1,500. 644 were in long-term
nursing homes. That's another thing. You take
these statistics that are already cutting them down and then take
the ones, the 878, probably half of those were terminal or near
death to begin with. It's just amazing and they shut
your economy down. Why? Trump, I always tell him,
I'll criticize him when he needs it. He's a sucker. And he keeps
buying this garbage that people are feeding him. And now he's
coming out and saying, we're done. Thank God. I believe it's
prayer. People are kind of been praying,
Lord, open Trump's eyes to the reality. And now he's starting
to refute Fauci and distance himself from these guys and say,
we need to just open stuff up. He says, with or without a vaccine.
And the next thing we want to pray for him is that he'll stop
pushing the vaccine. And because I'm here to tell
you they push a mandatory vaccine, your pastor will not take it.
I'll go to prison if I have to. I will not be vaccinated with
this Bill Gates trumped up vaccine. So they can make billions. And
that's something y'all I'm telling you, everybody hears my voice
right now. You better start praying about
what you're going to do because they're pushing for a mandatory
vaccine where you have to have an ID showing you've been vaccinated
or they won't even let you go to the grocery store or work. And what needs to happen is everybody
who's a real American should stand up against it. They can't
put us all in prison. Some of us may have to go, but
they can't lock us all up. And I won't go any further with
that, but that's the reason we have the Second Amendment. This shutdown was based on a
fraud. People over 60, people with diabetes,
people with heart disease, people with underlying conditions should
have been told you probably ought to stay home, and that's the
end of it. There shouldn't have been a mandatory anything, and
everyone not in those categories should have been at work and
at school this whole time. the heralded model which predicted
2.2 million deaths in the US and justified the UK lockdown,
totally unreliable, said the experts. This was just yesterday. The heralded model United Kingdom
experts have largely used to guide their coronavirus policies
is, quote, totally unreliable, according to experts. Quote,
experts have derided the coding from Professor Neil Ferguson,
warning that it is a, quote, buggy mess that looks more like
a bowl of angel hair pasta than a finely tuned piece of programming,
end quote. That describes most of what programmers
are doing across the board in the world today, by the way.
I mean, developers. That's why you're constantly
having glitches on your computers and everything. But whenever
you're talking about shutting down the economy and you trust
that incompetence, that's what you're dealing with. The virus
is real. It's the response of the government,
which is criminal. A lot of them, especially the
liberals and Democrats and RINOs, they're doing it to hurt Donald
Trump because he has not been going along with the New World
Order. They want to get one of their people back in there. Just
like Obama, just like Bush, just like Clinton, just like Bush. When people say there's not a
dime's worth of difference between the two major parties, that's
not really accurate. There is a slight difference.
But most of the Republicans, there's no difference. Proverbs 23.23 says, ''Buy the
truth and sell it not, also wisdom and instruction and understanding.''
Think of it like this. I've said this before, it's buy
the truth. Yeah. How many times somebody tell
you something and say, ''I'm not buying that.'' That's what it means. Buy it,
buy into it. The phrase we use, buy in to
the truth and sell it not. Lack of wisdom is what's killing
this country. But folks, we don't have anything
to worry about, but we do need to do what's right. You need
to take a stand, you need to tell your friends and relatives
even if they mock you and make fun of you. Tell them the truth. We love them enough to tell them
the truth. Now if they're lost, the main thing is they need to
hear the gospel and be saved. But regardless, once you've done
your part to preach the gospel and they know the truth of that,
then you need to tell them the truth about what's going on in
the world around you. And for the sake of, we're gonna see
in our next study of Hosea, my people are destroyed for lack
of knowledge, By the way, anybody who chooses to get a vaccine,
that's your business. I'm not out here telling you
not to do, what to do. I'm just going to give you the
truth about it. And right now, the information I have is that
there's not even going to be in a legitimate vaccine for this. If you do your research, you're
going to find out what is happening with most of the vaccine program
is to sterilize you. Sterilizing all the women in
Africa, for example. But if you want to get shot up
with that, that's your business. People ignore me about the flu
every year and get that flu vaccine. I'm like, that's up to you. Don't
jab me. Don't get that thing near me.
I might have to jab you with it. Luke 638 is where we're gonna
be in our Bible study. Give and it shall be given unto
you. And a reminder, the context is Jesus has brought balance
to the subject of judging, condemning, and forgiving. You judge righteous
judgment, you judge biblically, you judge based on the facts,
you condemn what God condemns, amen? And you forgive if they
repent. Unconditional forgiveness is
satanic. It hurts the person that you're
actually forgiving. They need to repent. God is not
willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance. A lot of Christians get in his
way, forgiving people without repentance. And now, he speaks
on giving. Don't get up and leave, you're
too late, you're here. Gotta stay. We have a visitor here
this morning, and we go verse by verse through the Bible, and
I don't preach about giving very often because God only mentions
it every so often, but when he does, we deal with it, amen?
And I assume everybody came here with a complete, submissive heart,
ready to receive the word of God and do what he says, amen?
All right, so verse 38, if you're there, Luke 6, read it with me.
Give and it shall be given unto you, good measure pressed down
and shaken together and running over, shall men give into your
bosom. For with the same measure that
you meet, with all it shall be measured to you again. God's
people say amen. So we're touching on the idol
of modern Laodicean Christianity today. On the one hand, you have
a whole segment of Christianity where it's all about money and
prosperity. That's all they ever talk about.
You turn on these TV preachers and it's almost always about
money, money, money, money, money. Then you've got the other extreme
where You have some Christians who act like they're so, I love
the Lord, I love the word, but they do not like what the Bible
says about giving. They don't obey what it says
about giving. They don't care, they don't even want to hear
it. There's the two extremes. We've had people who have heard
me, when the Bible talks about it, bring up the issue, I talk
about it, and they say, I thought you were different, I'm not going
to listen to you anymore. I said, well, if you thought
I was gonna ignore the Bible in places you don't like it,
you didn't think right about me to begin with. I'm not gonna
ignore anything the Bible says. Anything. Revelation 3.17 describes the
lay of the sins. Because thou sayest I am rich
and increased with goods and have need of nothing and knowest
not that thou art wretched and miserable and poor and blind
and naked. First, we'll come back to that
in a second. Every once in a while, somebody
will send me a link, and sometimes they'll say, oh, you ought to
watch this, this is good. And I'll turn it on, and it ain't
got a thing to do with God's word. These preachers go on and
on about, it has nothing to do with God's word. Then there's
other times where they'll send me this, thankfully, and they'll
say, this is absolutely crazy. This is what my so-and-so sent
me to watch, and they want me to see it. share the misery,
and I'll turn that on. Man, there's this guy, Michael
Todd. How many of you know Michael
Todd? He's a bestseller. He's effeminate, and all he ever
wants to talk about is relationships and sex. and he's up there and
he's, oh, I got a word, and all this is something God told me
to tell you, and all this stuff. I mean, one quotes the Bible,
but he don't teach the Bible. I'm not saying one way, the other
man's married and hopefully he's square with his wife. But I've
seen some of these guys in the past who are experts on relationships,
and sex, and all that kind of thing. and it's amazing how many
of them go queer. Remember Josh Harris, talk about
him, the I kiss dating goodbye. People gave me that book back
when he was pushing it and I said, this is not biblical. What he's
teaching isn't biblical. Well, he's left his wife and
the last place he showed up publicly was at a gay pride parade. All these experts, listen, it's
the word of God, not men. Then you got this guy, what's
his name, was a president of the National Association of Evangelicals. Man, I'm going to forget his
name now. They caught him with a male escort.
What was he doing? He was all about relationships
and getting along, and he didn't want to make anybody mad. Listen,
if you're a man, it's really natural for a woman to be very
nurturing. I got that motherly instinct
thing going on. Ted Haggard, that's him. Remember
Ted Haggard? Expert on relationships and everything. Then he's caught with a male
escort. That's why, not because I have
anything to hide, but I'm not up here claiming to be a relationship
expert. because the Bible is the relationship
expert. That's what bothers me about
so-called prophecy teachers. They all end up out in the ozone,
out in the weirdo land. Why? Because God never called
anybody to be a prophecy teacher. He said preach the word, cover
to cover, every word, amen? And that's what's led to these
attitudes among Christians, because instead of being in the word,
they're into men and women, Beth Moore and Joyce Myers and these
people. They always listen to these people.
Those people aren't Bible teachers. They might be one thing or another,
but they're not Bible teachers. They use the Bible to teach.
They don't teach the Bible. And 1 Timothy 6, 9 says, but
they that will be rich fall into temptation and a snare. America
is the most prosperous nation in the history of mankind. And
America's churches are the most prosperous churches, not the
little Bible-believing churches, but all the mega churches. They
will fall into temptation and a snare, and into many foolish
and hurtful lusts, which drown men in destruction and perdition. That's the context of for the
love of money is the root of all evil. Your new Bible versions
pervert that to say the love of money is the root of all kinds
of evil. Why? Because they are evil. They are about making money. New Bible versions are not to
make God's word more understandable to you. They are about making
money. That's why they copyright them
and will sue you if you copy them. If you use too many verses
out of a Bible version, you can be sued by the copyright owner,
and that's why they make changes. There's a hundred different versions,
the New American Standard, the NIV, the English Standard Version,
the New King James, the Holman Christian Standard, now that's
Christian Standard Bible, the Living Bible, the Message, I
could go on and on and on and on, and they all make changes,
not because it's a better translation, not because they're improving
God's word, they're making those changes because they have to
in order to get a copyright. So first, before we get into
anything else, let's just see what Jesus said to his immediate
audience here. In verse 38, it begins with these
words. Give, and it shall be given unto
you. Now, do you believe Jesus? Now,
think about what he just said. Do you believe that? Give, and
it shall be given unto you. First of all, he says, he doesn't
say, if you wanna give, he doesn't say, give if you like, if you
want to, he just says give. That's supposed to be the attitude
of the Christian, to give. to just be of a giving spirit.
We're not just talking about money, by the way. You're just
supposed to have a giving attitude. I had suits that I outgrew. Yeah, I got taller. I just had
a late growth spurt. I went around looking though,
I couldn't find anybody who could wear them, mainly because my
arms and legs are so short. These were tailor suits. Somebody
else had them tailored, and then a fellow named Marty, and I pray
he got saved. He wasn't even saved. He called
me in his office one day and said, he had actually gained
a little weight and had a little growth spurt. He said, I got
some suits, I bet you could wear them. So he got my measurements
and didn't tell me, but he went and had them actually altered
to fit me. We're talking a couple of thousand
dollars worth of suits. So I was dressing really good. Well, let me start there by saying
that I had been giving at that point and really cutting it close. I'm going to get back to this
a second. I believe 10 percent is a minimum
for the Christian. I barely was making it and yet
I said, you know what? I'm going to give 10 percent.
First thing I do, get my paycheck, 10 percent. Not law, we'll come
back to why I believe that, but I did it. I'm thinking, I had
two suits and one of them was tan and had a stain on it. I
had another one's black. That's all I had and they were
like cheap, cheap suits. jackets that I just got pants
to wear that look decent with them. But I said, Lord, if this
is how you want me to look when I preach, then that's how I'll
do it. Then this happened, and I got
thousands of dollars of suits. I was afraid that it might hurt
me actually, because people think I have too much money. I wouldn't
give any offerings to support my gas money and everything I
needed. At that time, I was traveling,
doing a lot of preaching at different churches. But that's an example
of what I'm talking about. Some of you are hurting right
now, it's because you think you know more than God. You're like,
well, I'm going to do this and do this and this way and this
way, and I'm not going to listen. I tell you, you want to get a
good conversation with Fundamental Baptists and fundamentalists
that we know, we agree on a lot of things, but boy, you want
to get some guys hot under the collar, start talking about money
and bring up tithing. I mean, their head spins and
they start to vomit pea soup. Amen. It shows in their life if you're
around them enough, It shows they're always having trouble
with money and with life in general. You wonder why? Listen, folks,
God will bless those who obey his word. He's a good father. He's not going to bless you when
you think you're smarter than God. Now, here's what happens
in your home. If you have children or you are
a child, that's most of you, have been a child at one time.
If you have a parent who says, do this and you'll get this,
and you don't do that, and you still expect to get that? No. If John tells Johnny, I need
my car washed. But if you do that, then I'm
going to give you 10 bucks. You can get that book or whatever
it is you wanted. Then 6 PM comes around 7 PM,
and John comes walking in the door, and Johnny says, ''Can
I have my 10 bucks?'' John says, ''I just walked past my car,
it didn't look like it was washed.'' ''Well, yeah, but you said you'd
give me 10 bucks. I said I'd give you 10 bucks
if you wash my car. Get out there and wash my car,
you get the 10 bucks, amen?'' Now, a good father, that's how
he is, but Christians, why do so many Christians think God
is a bad father? He's going to reward you for
being a tightwad. He's not, because he's a good
father just like you are if you have a child. He's a good mother. Bible actually refers to God
in motherly terms, the father of the fatherless. Tracy, I know,
That's the rule in your house. Why? You love those boys enough
to do what's right. You tell Dre's got to do something
before he goes someplace. If he don't do something, he
don't go someplace, right? Well, that's how God the Father
is. Simple enough, amen? If you want to receive, you have
to be a giver. He also talks about friendship.
If you want to have friends, you must first show yourself
friendly, amen? That's a principle in whatever
it is, Doug. You don't be good, but something
about being a hilarious. Well, two things is hilarious
isn't the right word. It's cheerful. The hilarious
thing is changed. I'm just telling you, it's not
the right word. Second of all, we're going to come back in a
minute. I'm going to ask you why it doesn't work. Yeah, it's just
the wrong word. It's changing the King James
Bible and preachers have done that from the pulpit for years
that gets stuck in our head. We're not a giver. That's the
word hilarious. Let me ask you this, Doug. Why
isn't cheerful good enough? That's what the King James says.
Is that good enough? That's my point. Hilarious is
changing the Bible. It's cheerful. See? And Doug, you and I went through
it. We've all gone through it. I sat under preachers who would
change the Bible like that all the time. Which is what cheerful means.
So why do you have to change the Bible? Why change it to hilarious,
which, but hilarious isn't the same word. That's just what I
heard. That's what I'm saying is you
and I have sat under preachers who changed the Bible. So what
do we got to do? We say, wait a minute, isn't
cheerful what it means? Hilarious means that's hilarious. No, it's not. God doesn't want
you to be that kind of giver. He wants you to be a cheerful
giver, which is what the Bible says. See? We get used to it. It takes some time to get used
to it. Ginny will tell you every once in a while, I'll quote something
from the NIV. And she'll say, is that what
the Bible says? And I'll say, wait a minute, look it up. I'm
like, because I was raised in Christ, not by my parents. In
Christ, in the local churches, as a babe in Christ, I was raised
up by guys who would change the Bible all the time and quote
those new versions. And it gets stuck in your head.
086 Give And It Shall Be Given Unto You (Luke 6:38) 1 of 2
Series Expository Study: Luke
Current Events Update: The Coronavirus death count is exaggerated. The end goal is mandatory vaccinations, which God's people should REFUSE to cooperate with (even if you're not anti-vax).
In our study, we we will take a close look (though not completely exhaustive) on the matter of: Giving.
The Bible, as usual, guides us between the two extremes of the so-called "Prosperity Gospel" and the Tightwads. The tenth ("tithe") is pre-Mosaic and is the standard of the minimal amount of giving throughout Christian history.
