God's Grace Towards the Gentiles, Part 1

While the fall of Israel has been a source of great sorrow, Paul assures us that it has also been a source of great blessing for Christ's Church at large, and for the Gentiles in particular. Through the fall of Israel, the riches of grace have been manifested to the Gentiles, and through the diminishing of Israel, God's blessings upon the Gentiles have been displayed. Thus, God's purpose in provoking Israel to jealousy has been successful and the goal of reconciling all men, both Jews and Gentiles, with God has been furthered through the proclamation of the Gospel.
