Worship - Its Components Pt 12 [Preaching cont'd]

For one final time we are returning today to consider the components of Biblical worship. We have come as far as the fourth and last component, namely the preaching of the Word of God.

There are two aspects of this component that we wish to dwell upon today, namely:
[1] The purpose of preaching. Why should such a place be given to preaching in the worship of the Lord? What is its purpose?

[2] The manner of preaching. What sort of preaching is acceptable to God?
