The Property of All Nations

Paul ends Romans by telling them that it is God who establishes and keeps them in the faith and that this is done through the gospel of Jesus Christ that he proclaimed. Faith in and the truth about Jesus are inseparable--we cannot believe whatever we want about Jesus. Part of the means God uses to comprehensively protect us, is the simplicity of the gospel. This glorious gospel mystery was revealed in the OT however the definitive revelation was given to us through Jesus Christ. With this revelation having been given, at God's command, it was sent into the whole world to accomplish, through the power of the Holy Spirit, God's single goal--the obedience of faith in all nations. This is God's wisdom, seen most clearly through Christ.
