How quick you got to be out here, brother? in that little run he made there. And you have to be careful with first, he went out there and begged God to kill him. He said, just let me die. That was a lie. He didn't want God to kill him. If he wanted to die, he just stayed there. Judge Bell was going to do it. He didn't have to run out in the woods for that. Amen. And another thing, when he came off the hill there, you have to be careful about your pity party. Because when he came off the hill, he said, God, I'm the only one. And he said, you go down there and anoint Hazel to be leader there. And you anoint Jehu to be king over Israel. And he said, you go down there and you anoint Elisha to take your place. My soul. He said, you go get somebody. You anoint him to take your place. You need to be careful about griping. God can always get somebody to take your place. We was talking last night, I was remembering the message and everything there last night, and when I was talking about snuff dippers and all, and drinking out of snuff glasses, some of the younger people look at you funny like, what are you talking about drinking out, but we as kids, we drank out of snuff glasses. We had jelly jars, we drank out enough glasses, anything mama could wash. We're rednecks is what we are from up in Tennessee. And you know you're a redneck if you've got a full set of salad bowls and they all say Cool Whip on the side of them. We washed and used everything again. As far as the snuff dipping, that was important where we come from, and especially the girls. Seemed like most of the girls dip snuff, and the men chew tobacco. But if he's marrying, it's very important that that snuff was. Because if you wanted a level-headed girl, the snuff run out both sides of her mouth. And if it run out one side, she's crazy. She's not level-headed. You don't want to marry her. So that's how you pick your wife up there. Amen. All right. All that nonsense. Let's get into this here. You got your Bible, turn to Revelation chapter 10, and I am gonna be quick. Just don't pay no attention to Brother Carter when he says, I'm just about done. He ain't just about done, but it was good stuff, it'll help you. Some things you don't pay no attention to, when a preacher puts his watch on the pulpit, you know what that means? Nothing. And when he says, I'm about done, that don't mean nothing, amen? Preachers lie, they lie all the time. I'm one of them, I know, but that's good preaching, good message, Brother Carter, I appreciate that. And I am, sure enough, I'm not gonna keep you very long like Elizabeth Taylor's fifth husband, amen, I won't keep you long. I'll be out of here. Revelation chapter 10, let me get there and see if I can find it. That's in the New Testament, ain't it? Amen. Well, it probably still is then, because the Word of God don't change. Revelation chapter 10, and we'll start reading in verse 1. Father, thank You for Your mercy. I thank You dear God for letting me be part of this. And I pray dear God, Father, things I've seen and heard, Father, I'm grateful for it. I pray dear God, Father, that You'd help us this morning to preach. And Father, help us say these simple things that might be of help to somebody here. In the precious name of the Lord Jesus Christ, Father, I pray Lord God You'd have Your way and Your will. I pray You'd have the move in and out the aisles, and your spirit have free course, Father, to work on our hearts this morning. In Jesus' precious name, amen. All right, Revelation chapter one says this, and I saw another mighty angel come down from heaven. Now, my figuring is, is you've had revival by now, or you're not going to. But I figure you've had revival by now, and so I'm just gonna try to help you with your time a little bit after revival. He said, I saw another mighty angel come down from heaven clothed with a cloud, and a rainbow was upon his head, and his face was as it were the sun, and his feet as pillars of fire. And he had in his hand a little book open, and he set his right foot upon the sea and his left foot upon the earth, or on the earth. and cried with a loud voice, as when a lion roars, and when he had cried, seven thunders uttered their voices. And when the seven thunders had uttered their voices, I was about to write, and I heard a voice from heaven saying unto me, seal up those things which the seven thunders uttered, and write them not. And the angel which I saw stand upon the sea, upon the earth, lifted up his hand to heaven, and swear by him that liveth forever and ever. who created heaven and the things that therein are, and the earth and the things that therein are, and the sea and the things which are therein, that there should be time no longer. But in the days of the voice of the seventh angel, when he began to sound, the mystery of God should be finished, as he had declared to his servants, the prophets. I want to call your attention there to the end of verse six. He said, I declare that there should be time no longer. We're talking about time this morning, and the preacher's talking about time. But the Lord said here the day would come when there wouldn't be no more time. He said there'd be time no longer. He said you're out of time. And we're almost there right now. I think we're nearing that point. You say, how do you know, Brother Jim? Because you don't have time anymore. Time's gone. You ever wonder what happened to your time? We have time-saving devices now. We've got a dishwasher that'll wash the dishes for you and get them done. You used to have to do them all by hand. Now you've got a dishwasher. It'll do it for you. You don't have to fool with that. You've got a microwave oven. You can have popcorn or a cup of coffee in about a minute. Man, that's quick right there. You got drive-in drugstores, an automatic washer and an automatic dryer. You got all these things that save you time. Have you noticed you ain't got time to do nothing? My mama and daddy, my mama washed with a ringer washer. And they'd have revival meetings she'd make every night. We'd chop cotton all day long. She'd cook three meals a day and bake bread three meals a day. And any neighbor that came by, she had time to sit on the porch and talk to. You got everything now to save you time and you don't have time to do anything? Time's disappearing. Time's getting gone. I don't know what's happened. I saw a place when I was in Pensacola, Florida, they had a drive-through funeral home. Honest to goodness, I worked on it. I'm an electrician by trade. I worked on it. If you didn't have time to go in, you could just drive up there and look at them through the glass. There they are, laying there in a coffin. You drive on through. Let me help you out and save you some time. If you don't care enough about me to get out of the car, don't come to my funeral. Good grief, just go on down the road if you ain't got time to come in. People crazy. That old Ringer washing machine, I loved it. Every guy in here that knows anything about them has had his hand caught in it at least one time, twice. Try to get your sister's hair in it if you can. Amen. We got instant news now. Instant news. Instant mail. One minute coffee. I'm telling you brothers and sisters, we got stuff to save us time. Have you noticed everybody now is a news anchor? Everybody now is a photographer. Everybody's a cameraman. Anything happens, everybody got their little phone out. And you send it around the world in three seconds? You're talking about fast, that's fast. Text message, what's text message for? That's for rude people that don't want to talk to you. Let me help you out a little bit. You say, brother Jim, I got 300 friends on Facebook. You don't have any friends. If you had friends, you wouldn't be on your phone all day. Real friends, you talk to them, you go see them, you go out and eat with them and make fun of each other. That's real friends. Text. You know what it means you get a text? That means they didn't care to talk to you. They didn't want to take time to hear your blather. So they text you so they didn't get tied up on the phone. Brother, sister, what are you saying, brother Jim? I'm saying, boy, we got all this time-saving stuff and you don't have time for anything. Our old man come home one night and him and his wife was in bed and they had a cuckoo clock. It was six o'clock in the morning and that thing started cuckooing and something in there broke and it just kept on cuckooing. It cuckooed like 14, 15 times. It was only supposed to go 12. That thing cuckooed about 15 times. He told his wife, he said, get up out of bed, it's later than it's ever been. That's about the truth, it's later than it's ever been. You know she don't have time to talk. You know she don't have time to read your Bible. Amen. You know she don't have time to pray. Don't have time to sit with a neighbor. Somehow, I don't know how it happened, but time's gone. We don't have time anymore. Time is out of here. Well, brother and sister, there's a day coming soon when it's all gone. He said there is no longer time. What I'm saying this morning is whatever you're going to do now that you've had revival, you better get about it. Because we're out of time. Apart from the things of God, did you know there's nothing you've got more important than time? Honestly goodness, but please yes, he says there's a time for this a time for that and time brother says at times the most important commodity that you got if you got a baby there's feeding time If you got a husband there's feeding time Don't forget that a man person come out of women Boston and cooking and all this kind of stuff I was listening to that man. My wife's always been good about that, but uh we don't cook anymore do they? If the restaurant is open we eat there Cook, the guy said his wife cooked so bad they prayed after they eat. Might be some of that. But apart from the things of God, you got more important things, nothing more important to you than time, feeding time, work time, family time. Work time's gone. I was in Knoxville, Tennessee the other morning, went in a Cracker Barrel to get something to eat. And she said, well, you'll have to wait, sir. I looked around, one by three, four tables. They didn't have anybody in. The whole restaurant, about three, four tables, the only ones there. I said, why do I got to wait? There ain't nobody in here. She said, we got one waitress and one cook. They're taking care of this whole store. I said, what's wrong? She said, nobody will come to work anymore. She said, they're all getting stimulus checks, and they won't come into work. They better cut that mess off right now, or we'll be a poor nation. I bet you cut those checks off, they'll come to work. Amen. Like that farmer, he just got married, married a young lady, he bought her a mirror and a wash tub. She said, what's this for? He said, you can take that wash tub and start washing clothes, or you can take that mirror and watch yourself starve to death. Amen. Work time. Family time. School time. Church time. Amen. Always talking about, you talk about brothers talking about, the church took my mom and them away. The church took my dad away. Hey, we're only here about three hours a week. They didn't take your time. Amen. That's just the truth. Bible says redeeming the time because the days are evil. There used to be an old song said there never seems to be enough time to do the things you want to do once you find them. Well, brother and sister, that's the truth. There's not much time. You got family, you want time with them. You got money, you want time to spend it. Amen? Probably ain't got much money in here. I mean, this ain't, this don't look like no rich crowd to me, amen? And I guarantee you, looking at one here, it ain't got any. As the preacher said, me and my wife started out with nothing, and we still got most of it, amen? That's the truth. You got land, you wanna go see it. You got a home? You won't be there a while. You won't sit on the porch a little while. Say, brother Jim, what about it? What about it? Brother, sister, time's gone. There's not much left. You need to be careful how you spend what you got. Be careful. Now that you've had revival, what are you going to do with it? You ain't got much time. I will say number one, and I will be quick. I will say there's no more time, brother and sister. He said, there'll be time no longer. There's no longer time to wonder. 1 Corinthians 15, 58 says, be steadfast, unmovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord. That's what you ought to do. You don't have time to wonder. When I got saved, I got in church, and then after about six months, my old friends came back around. I was dumb enough to go with them. After about a year or so, they had me right back out. I was doing everything I had never done before. I was five years away from the Lord, five years wasting my life and wasting my time. Finally got back in, thank God. But I'm gonna tell you, young people, you don't have time for that. You don't have time to wonder like we did. Hey, you ain't got time to go to Kansas City. Amen. You better stay home now. We don't have time to do that. You don't have the time I had. You ain't got time to wonder. I've seen so many Christians like this in and out. Up and down. In church a while, out of church a while. The world lures them away. They're on fire for God, then they're cold. Up and down. Somebody at church offends them. Usually they'll fall out with a preacher. Usually first. Then they'll fall out with the church. Then they done fell out with the Lord before you know it. Brothers and sisters, I did that. I made a mess of it. And we paid the price. I had a couple of my church up home. We live up close to Branson, Missouri. God forbid. We live up there. And I like Branson. I mean, there's nothing wrong. It's a good place to go have fun with your family. Pretty clean place. But we had a couple in there, they wanted to go to Branson every weekend. instead of going to church, they want to go to Branson. And they lured another couple in and said, hey, let's go to Branson this week. After a while, I talked to one of the young ladies, and I said, look. I said, y'all are in Branson an awful lot. You're not in church much anymore. She said, yes. She said, we're going to be there again next weekend, too, and just grinned. Just grinned. You know what happened? They went to Branson Botts together. And all of a sudden, that other gal's husband got to liking her. And she got to liking him. And before you know it, they're slipping around seeing each other on the side. Say, where they at now? They're not in Bernson. They're busted in a million pieces, divorced. Their family's destroyed to all the pieces. Say, what happened? Oh, just a little time to wonder. Just a little time out here, a little time out there. Brother says, you don't have time for that. Eventually, you'll probably get back in. But your kids probably won't. How many times, preacher? How many times, preacher, have you said, pray for our kids? We weren't in church. When we got back in church, they didn't get back in. We weren't in church when we was raising the kids. Now we can't get them to come. What you'll do is wind up raising your grandkids. You'll wind up bringing your grandkids to church because your kids will be too sorry because you wondered when you had a chance to serve God. You know what they say out there in the world? They say you raise your kids and spoil your grandkids. That's proper. Or you can spoil your kids and raise your grandkids. Amen. You'll do one or the other. And for some of you grandmas, bring those kids to church. I'm not doubting you. Thank God for you. You're the only hope those kids have got. Mama and daddy, you be careful about wandering out away from the Lord right now. You make one lap around the devil's track out of church, your kids will make 10. You be careful. Well, mama, you wander. Y'all aren't in church. And brother and sister, I'm telling you, sometimes you make it back and your spouse won't make it. You wander out there a while, you might get back in, but your spouse may not get back in with you. You be careful, brother and sister, be careful. Sometimes, hey, you might make it, and your health don't survive. I've seen that too. I see it everywhere. I see people virtually starting over with their whole life. Why, Brother Jim? Just a little time to wonder. Wasted years. We used to sing up in the hills, there's a time for us to wonder. When hearts are young, and so are we. The woods are greener over yonder. The path is new. The world is free. Well, I'll tell you, the woods ain't always greener over yonder. And it ain't time to wonder now, there's no longer time for that. You're gonna serve God, you better get in and quit wasting your years. I'm telling you, it's about over. Amen. I wanna say this too, and I love this. So I, cause I'm a redneck. And I like words that people don't use much. There's no longer time, brother and sister, to dither. I like that, don't you like that? What's dither mean? It means to be unable to make a decision. to be undecided. Well, let me ask you this morning, are you in or out? Are you in? It's time to make a decision. Bible says, choose you this day who you'll serve. Are you in or out? Elijah went to, I guess we're going to preach on Elijah all day. Elijah went down there to Elisha and he said, come on, go with me. He said, all right. He went with him. He said, I want to go with you. He said, come on. And you know what he did? He was plowed with 12 yoke of oxen. I don't know exactly how that went, but I know the Bible said he was, and he might not have been all 12 of them. He might have been one of the 12. But anyway, he was plowing with 12 yoke of oxen. You know what the Bible says? He sacrificed those oxen, buddy. He cooked them and ate them, and he cooked them with the instruments. He was plowing with them. He set it on fire and cooked the cow with it. Say, what is that? Brother and sister, he burnt the plow. He was plowing out there in the field and God said, come on. He burnt the plow. I love that, don't you? God called me a few years ago, you know what we did? We burnt the plow. I ain't going back. He burnt the plow where he could never go back. He wasn't about to go pick it up and plow again. He burnt the sucker. He burnt the plow. I like that. Old Psalm said, the world behind me, the cross before me. No turning back. No turning back. They asked me 26, almost 27 years ago, if I would pastor that church up there. And I said, we prayed about it. And I said, I reckon so. They said, what do you do? We burnt the plow. We're there. We're there till God moves us out of there. I ain't quitting by the grace of God. When I think God's done, I'll stop. But until then, brother and sister, there's no time. There's no longer time to dither. You can't make up your mind. Some of you didn't burn the plow, did you? I got some in my church that didn't burn it. You know what they did? They put it out there in the barn. Every now and then, they go out there and wipe it off. Every now and then, they'll go out there and grease all the fittings on it and everything to make sure it's slick and ready to go in case they ever want to go back to plowing again. They can always go back and pick that plow up. Oh no, brother and sister, the world behind me, the cross before me, no turning back. People in our church think I'm too hard on some things sometimes. I am pretty hard on some things. But brother and sister, the problem is I burnt the plow. And I don't see why you can't either. If I can do it, you can do it. Amen? Amen. No longer time to dither. Are you in or out? You had revival, what are you gonna do about it? Well, you're almost out of time. You better make up your mind. You're gonna preach, you better preach. You're gonna pastor, then you better pastor. We're almost out of time. You're gonna become a witness, you're gonna sing, you better get at it. Make up your mind. There's no time to dither. I'll tell you something else, there's no longer much time to repair. Ephesians 4, 32 says, be kind one to another. Tenderhearted, forgiving one another. You got it all against somebody, there's not much time to repair it. You know a brother somewhere is not talking to you right now? A sister that you don't care to talk to? Well, there's not much time to repair that. You know what I'd do if I was you? I'd fix it. You say, they won't speak to me. Well, at least you did your part. I'd go try to fix it if I was you. and be kind one to another. I think you ought to do that. We was talking about that a little bit last night. Bitterness. Bitterness, real bitterness is you sitting across the table from somebody you hate. And you're drinking poison and waiting on them to die. It ain't gonna kill them, it's gonna kill you. That root of bitterness will spring up in your home and your church, it'll kill you. I got people that spit when they say my name up home. We had 30 of the original 40 of my church leaving one Sunday. Over the King James Bible. Mad, just mad. Right now they spit, they say my name. I've had guys leave, I've had them cut my throat, stab me in the back when they left our church. I've had them do all, you say, Brother Jim, at the time I wanted to hit them in the mouth. I still could be coaxed into it. Say, did they do you wrong? Yeah, they did me wrong. But honest before God, right now, I ain't mad at none of them. I think they're wrong. I ain't mad at them. And I've told a couple of them, I said, man, I don't agree with you. And me and you probably can't walk down the road together. But I said, if you ever need any help, I'll help you. I ain't. Maybe it's time to repair a friendship. I've seen kids hate each other because their mom and dad hate each other. What is the goodness? A crazy man may repair relationship mama. Hey, young lady, maybe repair relationship. Hey, young man, maybe repair relationship with dad, mom, somebody. We're running out of time. You're going to fix it. You better fix it. Me and Gail had a good friend over in Tennessee. And her name was Connie. And Wayne was her husband's name. And they were close to our age at that time. But that's been 20 years ago. But that's a long time ago. I mean, that makes me, what, almost 30 now, something like that. But they were real good friends of ours. Connie had a 18-year-old girl, 18, 19-year-old girl. And she stayed on her daughter about coming to church. She said, we need you to get back in church, serve the Lord. She said, Mama, I'm not doing it. And she got mad at her mama because she tried to get her to church all the time. And Connie's daughter had a beautiful little baby girl. They had a little baby girl, beautiful little baby. They wouldn't let her see that baby. She's mad at her mama. She wouldn't let her see it. Wouldn't even let her see her own grandbaby. Y'all, you say stuff like this, people nod their head, you know why? Because all y'all know some case like this. Wouldn't let her see her own grandbaby just out of spite because her mama wanted her to do right. If I can talk about it, we got a call there one day and Wayne said, he said, I just came in. He said, don't know what happened. He said, Connie's in the bathroom. She just fell dead. just quit breathing, had some kind of a thing happen between her lungs and her heart. I don't remember what it was now. But he said she just fell dead right there on the floor. He said, Brother Jim, would you come over and preach her funeral? I said, yeah, I will, Wayne. I'd be glad to. Me and my wife went over there and we just tried to be a help like he was talking about, Brother Torrey. Went over there and tried to help her. And got in there and I preached the funeral. And they decided that they'd open the casket at the cemetery to let people who didn't come to church People too sorry to go to church. They let them look at the graveyard so they could see the body, because they didn't want to go to church. I wouldn't open the casket for you. Sorry, rascal. You're too sorry to come to church. I wouldn't open nothing for you. But they did. They opened it up out there. And right before they shut it, I seen that girl. I seen that girl over there just weeping. Head to toe, and she had pictures of that little baby. She was cramming them in that casket, trying to get them in that crack, putting them in there with her mama before she's gone. I said, what's she doing? Too late, sis. Amen. That should have been repaired months ago. That should have been repaired a year ago. There's no longer time. You don't have much time. If you're going to fix it, you ought to fix it. Make that phone call. Go by the house. Call your brother and sister. Say, I'm sorry. Won't kill you. Maybe you can repair a relationship before it's too late. Say you're sorry. It won't hurt. Wives, you can say you're sorry, too. Amen. My wife don't know that word. Even when she's wrong, I say, you know she's wrong now, don't you? I said, well, say you're sorry. She said, I wasn't wrong. Maybe you can repair a relationship. Like I said, I'm a master electrician, and I still keep my license. I keep the old plow, you know. Don't practice anymore, but our church has built about, we've built 11 new buildings since I've been up there, and you have to have a master electrician on the job, so I keep my license. But at any rate, we had a guy. Well, I had to give you some reason for that. We had a guy working on the fourth floor of a building up there and had a piece of plywood. And that wind caught that plywood and ripped him and that plywood off that fourth floor. He fell down there in a palmetto bush. One of those palmetto things went almost clean through him. He lay there. I didn't get to talk to him. My friend, Monty Phillips, who got down there to talk to him, he looked up at Monty and he said, Would you tell my wife I love her? And he's gone. Just like that, he's gone. Well, let me say, let me ask you, Dad, why didn't you tell her you love her? Amen. Why don't you tell her before you go to work? Yes, sir, amen. Why don't you tell her while she can hear you? Yes, sir, amen. There's no time left after that. After that, there's not time, no longer time. Maybe you need to repair your life this morning. I see them all the time. Oh, I'm better now, Brother Jim. Yeah, but look what you went through. Oh, I'm all better now. Well, time's about up. If you're gonna quit that, you better quit it. God's already told you to quit it. Don't ask me what it is. You know what it is. You've prayed about it a hundred times. If you're gonna quit it, quit it. If you're gonna start it, start it. but you're about out of time to make any repairs. You won't make any repairs before you meet Jesus Christ? You better make them now. Have you looked around you? Even lost people now know something's fixing to happen. I mean, there's a foreboding in the air. Even lost people know something's up. Jesus is coming. There's no longer time to repair. I'll tell you something else, brother, there's not much time left to worship. The preacher said the other night, Brother Andrew said, let everything that hath breath praise the Lord. Praise the Lord, O my soul, all that's within me. He said, praise ye the Lord. There's not much time left to worship. Are you gonna get in? I mean, would it bother you to praise the Lord? No, I know we can whip it up in the flesh. You know what we'll do? We'll try to whip it up. I'm a cheerleader at my church half the time. I try to make people shout. I try to get them to say amen. This year, this week, they've tried to whip it up. They've tried to drum it up. They've tried to sing it up. They've tried to do everything to get you to say amen. Man, can't you just turn one loose one time on y'all? We're going to heaven soon. You say, well, when I see Jesus, I'm gonna shout. Well, duh. We don't need your shouting heaven. Everybody shout in heaven. We don't need your singing up there. Everybody sings up there. We don't need your praise. We don't need your testimony up there. Everybody's got one up there. My soul, down here is where we need the encouragement. And I'll say something to you young people, too. Proper or improper, you know how it is. Young people, when you're up singing, and people saying amen, and people shouting, you like that, don't you? Amen. Well, how about when we're up here? How about when somebody else is up here singing? How about you turning one loose? Who do you think you are, spiffy? Amen. Amen. You want people to praise the Lord when you're doing something? You praise the Lord when they're doing something. I wouldn't want this thing to be over. I would not want this thing to be over. I got six grandkids. Only got one child, so I'm fortunate. I got six grandchildren. My triplet boys are 17 years old this year. Can't believe it. They're all up here like this. 17 years old. I got them boys, and I would hate for this thing to end before they heard their papa praise the Lord. I wouldn't want this thing to end and my grandkids had never heard Pawpaw lose it every now and then for the Lord. Wouldn't want it to be over. Wouldn't want to do that. I wouldn't want it to be over before I told this whole congregation in here what Jesus means to me. I mean the first time he asked for testimonies, I'd want to stand up and let y'all know just what Jesus Christ has meant to me. I wouldn't want it to come back before I got that chance. Ain't much time left to worship, you gonna get in? Are you in or out? Did you burn the plow? I want my family to know what Jesus Christ means to me. I want these kids in here to hear me shout. Say, Brother Jim, you put a lot of stock in that shouting. Yeah, I do. I've seen times nothing else would work. I know you're shouting the flesh. I understand half of it's in the flesh. Maybe 80% of it's in the flesh. I don't know. I know it is. But you're gonna be in the flesh till the Lord comes back good. You might as well do something for God while you're in it. Amen. walls of Jericho. They went up there, and he said, you can go around this many times, you can go around, and then he said, the last time, you circle this many times, and when you get done, he said, shout, and the walls come down. If it had been Baptist church, or Baptist across that water, they'd still be up there looking at that wall. Ain't nowhere in the world, listen, they could have preached for six weeks straight, nonstop, those walls still be standing. They could have taught a Bible lesson for three days, the walls still be standing. You know why? Because God said, shout it down. That's the only way it's coming down, shout it down. And sometimes that's the only way around. I've seen times I couldn't work it out, I couldn't figure it out, I couldn't pray it out, I just get in church and shout it out. I'm not saying it's best every time, use your head, but boy, sometimes it's the only thing that'll work. Not much time left to worship, or you in or out. Tell the kids at school and people down where you work that you love Jesus Christ. Like I said, we don't need you to shout up there. where we need your testimonies down here. We used to go to a restaurant with an old man named Pop Webb, and we'd walk in a restaurant, and I know that ain't the right thing to do, but Pop was just Pop. He loved God, though. We'd walk in a restaurant, everybody packed out full, sat down to eat, and he'd walk over to his table, and out of nowhere, he'd say, glory to God! Everybody was scared people to death. They dropped their forks, scared of looking around. I know there ain't the best way to do it, But at least he did it. Pop would get warmed up, he'd get shouting, he'd get in one of those shouting fits, and he'd start shifting gears, going down that aisle. He'd shout on every gear change too. I like that. Not much time left to worship. Listen, shouting ain't everything. It ain't even the most important thing, church. But it is an important thing. and you'll be able to praise the Lord for what he's done for you. Hey, if you can't say amen, what he's done for you. And you don't have to do it like I do it. You don't have to do it like some of these nuts do it, but you ought to do it. Heaven's going to be full of shouting. Don't you want to know how? Everybody's shouting, but you don't you want to know how when you go up. I mean you see Jesus you You sound like a ticket or something Get you some practice down here Okay foghorn leg horns on I say boy this here is a ticket get some practice I Won't say this last and I will quit and I this is last brother Tory Let me show you what a last is right here. I I've enjoyed being with y'all. It's been a blessing. I will say this lastly. Now that you had revival, and I trust you have, there's no longer time to procrastinate. I don't know anybody here lost today, but you know somebody that is. If they're not here, you know somebody in your family that is. You need to go seek them. He said today, if you hear his voice, not tomorrow. The preacher talked about it last night. He said today is all you got. Yesterday is a canceled check. Tomorrow's a promissory note. You may or may not get it. Today's the only cash you got. You better spend it well. You don't have years to put it off like some of us did. Young people, you don't have years to put off getting in. I know your mom and daddy's in. I know your church people's in. Well, are you in? You don't have time to put it off. If you're here today and you're lost, you must believe Christ is the Savior. He did what he said he did. How he died for your sins according to the scriptures, buried and rose again the third day according to the scriptures. You have to believe that story. And you have to believe that you're a sinner. And you ask him to forgive and save your soul. Put your trust in him. He'll save you. And boy, you don't have time to put it off. You gotta believe his word. For whosoever will, let him come. He that cometh to me, I will in no wise cast out. You see, there's two clocks working against you this morning, saved or lost. Especially if you're lost. But there's two clocks, there's the clock of life. I don't know where that one'll stop. I don't know. An old poem I think said the clock of life is wound but once and no man has the power. to know just where the time will end or where the stop, where the hands will stop, I don't know. No Manhattan Power, just know when, I still can't think of it. One of y'all come up with that one for me. But you don't know when the hands are gonna stop. Clock of life is wound but once. At late or early hour. You don't know when they're gonna stop. Thank you, brother. Clock of life, it's against you. But God's got a clock too. And that's against you. His is a stopwatch. He'll stop that thing anytime he wants to. He'll push that button. You know, they say in hell there's a clock, too, down on the wall. In hell. You don't have no hands on it. Because it don't matter. No hand on that. We got a dear lady we went to church with in Dyersburg, Tennessee, Miss Edna. And I think I told this story here one time, but I don't care. I'll tell it again. She probably forgot it anyway. But Miss Hedda had a son-in-law who married her daughter. His name was Jimmy. And she stayed after Jimmy to get saved, but he couldn't leave the drinking in the joints alone. He didn't want no part of it. And she said, Jimmy, you got to get saved. He said, I'm going to, Mama. He called her Mama. He said, I'm going to, Mama. He said, I'll do it. He said, I'm not going to wait too late. I'll do it. She said, Jimmy, the Lord's coming back. She said, you don't know if you've got tomorrow. He said, I'll be all right, Mama. I'll be all right. Miss Edna said that she Woke up in the middle of the night and heard a wreck out in front of her house about two o'clock in the morning. She said it crashed and she heard glass busting and she called Anita, her daughter, which lived next door. She said, Anita, get out here. Somebody's had a bad wreck in front of the house and they both ran out there. They both heard it. That's what Miss Edna told us, didn't she, Gail? She said they both heard it. They rushed out into the street and she said there wasn't a car crash nowhere. Said there wasn't nothing on any street for four blocks. They went looking. There wasn't nobody wrecked. And she said, that is so strange. And they went back there and tried to get back in the bed, get settled down, get back to sleep. And about 40 minutes later, Tennessee Highway Patrol called her and said, is this such and such in either way? She said, yes, it is. He said, your husband Jimmy says? She said, yes. He said, Jimmy's had an accident. And about six miles from there, he's drunk and hit a bridge abutment. left the frame of his car, he's going so fast, most of the frame still up on the highway, and him and the rest of the car went off down the ravine, killed him instantly. You know what Miss Edna told me? She's a brother to him, I don't care what anybody says, she said, I heard that wreck. I don't know if she heard it or not. But they went out there the next day to look at what was left of the car. And she said, oh, God. She said, show me some sign, some something. Give me some comfort about Jimmy, because I don't know where he's at for sure. I don't know if he ever prayed that prayer, if he ever listened or not. And they went out there and said, there was nothing in the car but beer cans. And said, back in the back corner, there's one corner tore off a little Sunday school literature thing where the kids that went to Sunday school, they took them. And just a little corner left on there. And the only thing that's left on there was a verse of scripture, a piece of verse. It said, whosoever is not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire. She said, Brother Jim, she said, Jim, he's in hell. And she said, I know he's in hell because God showed it to me. I don't know about all that. I believe her. I know he probably died lost. So he is in hell, ain't no doubt about that. You say, about that, I don't know about all that. But I know this much, you can't procrastinate too long. Especially right now where we live this time and this age. I mean, Goofy has taken over the nation. There's no longer time. You're out of time. If you're here today and you're lost, you're not sure you're saved, you are out of time. If you're saved here today, you've had some measure of revival, you're gonna try something for the Lord, you're out of time. You better start it today if you're gonna start it. Let's stand. Preacher.
