Weapons of Warfare

The great conflict or battle between the Kingdom of light and the kingdom of darkness is waged in the arena of ideas and thoughts--those that are in line with and those that are opposed to God's mind are at the core of the cosmic struggle. Wrong thoughts become wrong actions and repeated wrong actions become strongholds that stubbornly resist God's wisdom in all things. Paul shows that the only way to fight against these strongholds (whether in our own lives, the lives of our children or elsewhere) is with God's mighty weapons. God's mighty power is His Spirit working with His word and thus for believers to be effective warriors in Christ's Kingdom they must be submitted to God's specific instructions about all things.
