Knowing Your Rights

We live today in a so-called 'rights culture', but what rights if any do we have to eternal things, especially in our relationship to God? It is God Himself who determines our rights, and in the Gospel of John and the first chapter, verse 12, also verse 13, we discover the key to this most significant matter. Although the majority then rejected Him, and the majority now still do, it is in these verses that we learn how God has provided for us to have a relationship with Him, through His Son, Jesus Christ. "But as many as received him, to them gave the power (KJV) [The right (NKJV) ] to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name: Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God."
