The Insanity of Unbelief

The refusal to believe God is not an option nor is it the norm. To the contrary, the soul has been hijacked by the fall of humanity. And unbelief is dangerous. It is the sin that ultimately damns a person. Unbelief is the sin out of which all other sins arise. Unbelief does not seem insane to the unbeliever because it is natural. It is the default setting of the world after the fall of humanity. But it is not the way it is supposed to be. Believing God is a blessed and supernatural gift of God. The Bible teaches that all unbelievers are dead in trespasses and sin. Therefore, if anyone is to call upon the name of Jesus Christ, faith must be given to them by God along with a new heart.
