From Death to Glory

Having meditated on the words of the cross in this series this final message looks at how the truth of Christ's resurrection sheds further light and confirmation of the words that Jesus cried from the cross. It becomes clear that without the resurrection of Christ His words from the cross have no true saving power and cannot speak to the conscience and need of humanity. There is a new expression of atheism that wants to plunder religion including Christianity for constructive values that have been stripped from any supernatural context and utilized for the purpose of enriching a secular world. Such an endeavour is a proud and foolish delusion! Only a Christian faith of biblical proportions is big enough to deal with the evil of this world. Only a cross that is swallowed up in the victory of the resurrection can establish a new humanity in the immense mercy and saving holiness of God.
