#134 - Peter's Denial

Puffed with pride, Peter spurned Jesus' warning and foolishly exposed himself to temptation. The result was the grievous sin of denying his Lord. This becomes a great warning to us, that even our zeal for the Lord must be tempered by the commands and cautions of the Word of God. Peter would eventually be humbled, repent of his sin and be forgiven and restored by Jesus. This hope belongs to us as well.
