Worship - Its Complement Pt 2 [Music cont'd]

77

Once again we are returning to consider the place that musical accompaniment has in the worship of God. As is very obvious, this is an extremely important topic when considering praise as a component of Biblical worship.

On either side of us we have extreme positions.

There are those who see no need to regulate what musical instruments are employed and what music is used to worship God.

There are also those who insist that we should not be employing any musical accompaniment at all in our praise.

In fairness to those of this persuasion we will be mentioning why they believe this to be so. Last time we spent some considerable time noticing the examples of musical accompaniment in worship in the Scriptures.

Today we want to go a little further in this study of music in worship and consider: The restrictions placed upon musical accompaniment by God in worship.
