How Precious Did That Grace Appear (Part VIII)

What is a Christian? And am I a Christian? These are probably the most important questions we must answer. To properly answer these questions, you must properly understand and know who Jesus Christ is. Confusion about Christ Jesus and the Christian life abounds and overflows all around us. What makes one a Christian? Baptism? Church membership? Praying the sinner's prayer? Attending an altar call? One who was born into a Christian family? What must the Christian life look like? Can we say that there is a standard for the one who calls himself a Christian? What is the standard that we must use to judge a Christian life? These are very important questions that Titus 2:11-14 helps us to answer. The better we understand the work and person of Christ Jesus, the better we understand what we were saved from and saved for and the more honor and glory we will give to our God. That is what we were created for, to give honor, glory, and worship to our triune God. The more we do this, the more we enjoy our lives.
