Disagreement and Conflict

Text: Acts 15:36-41

How do we respond to disagreement and conflict with each other, particularly when it's over beliefs and preferences that are not central to the gospel?

(1) Remember our shared identity and purpose (v. 36).

(2) Recognize each other's perspective (vv. 37-38).

(3) Realize you may not come to agreement (vv. 39-40a).

(4) Rest in Jesus' grace to accomplish good from it (vv. 40b-41).

Truth to Remember:
Our disagreements and conflicts with each other reveal our constant need for Jesus' grace and guidance.
