Christ: The Source of Spiritual Transformation

Today we are beginning a mini-series called "The Believer's Spiritual Transformation" that will take us through chapter 3. This is where Paul provides practical ways for the believer to "seek the things that are above."

Again, the overarching theme of Colossians is the preeminence of Christ; and as we examine chapter three, we will learn how we are sanctified to reflect Christ's preeminence. John MacArthur calls it "practical holiness." I like this term, but unfortunately, we don't hear about holiness in modern preaching. But in fact, it is the believer's responsibility to pursue holiness in their lives.
