Willing to be Deceived

Ahab was carried away with his own importance. God gave him victories and he thought it was his own military power. His pride led him into war with Syria. Ahab loved the false prophets who told him what he wanted to hear. He refused and rejected the word of God. He suffered the death that the prophet predicted. God's word comes true. It is impossible to fight against Him. Fear God's curses and rejoice in His promises because both are sure.
