The Apostle Paul having focussed upon the believers in the Ephesian Church, who were bond-servants of some degree, he now directs his attention upon those who employ or own such servants. Paul does not spend any time on the ethics of slavery, but rather speaks with Divine Authority to all Christians in whichever position in life they find themselves - BOND or FREE.
It is NOT social-justice he insists on, but godly lives for all that profess Christ. It is NOT your best life now, but your best testimony now:
