I. The Call to Worship

II. The Chief of Worship

o The Chief Object (vv. 1, 3, 4, 5)

o The Chief Leader (v. 5; Jn. 20:17)

We hear the voice of Jesus in Rev. 19:5, thus does the great Captain of our Salvation stand as the great representative of the saints, leading, confirming, and assenting to their rejoicing.—Moses Stuart

III. The Current Application

o A call to hatred? (Pss. 7:6; 104:35; 129:5; 140:10-13)
"O that you would slay the wicked O God! … Do I not hate those who hate you, O LORD? … I hate them with a complete hatred."—Psa. 139:19, 21, 22

A call to worship: Come out … make yourself ready (18:4; 19:7-10)
