The Stricken and Risen Shepherd – Zechariah 13:7-9/Mark 14:27-31

39 ( 38 | 1 )

Easter is a holiday celebrated by many, and many do not realize the implications of this holiday. Easter is called Resurrection Sunday, because it is the celebration of Jesus' victory over death. Resurrection should remind us of death and the conquering of sin, which is God's judgment and salvation. Today's sermon from Zechariah shows God's prophetic word showing his shepherd would be stricken for his sheep, and the fulfillment of this prophecy in Mark through Jesus Christ. Please join us this week as we seek to glorify God through the preaching and pointing others to the truth of His Word.
