Christ, the Priest King

Main Sermon Points: [1] In a grand climax to the visions just completed, the Lord reveals to Zechariah the work of the Messiah as being a Priest who is also a King. [2] In order to accomplish the salvation of sinners, Jesus Christ fulfilled the office of Priest in unique and glorious ways. [3] As the resurrected Priest, Jesus the exalted Christ, sits and rules as King.
