It is hard to narrow it down. Every preacher, every teacher goes through this. One of the things we've been covering in the adult class is repentance, and we're going to continue to cover that. But we've also been covering it for a specific reason. Many churches are filled with people who are not saved. They come to church trying to resolve their guilt, and they're not quite sure how to resolve that guilt. Now, today I also had Brother Ray pass these out. We will not be teaching on this today, but I want you to have it so that you can study it at home. It is the tribulation. that's coming. And I believe it's coming very soon and I'm going to present to you this morning some more of the ideas that I have that I believe the scripture will confirm about what is coming. And that is the first phase of the second coming of the Lord Jesus Christ, which is the rapture. And then after the rapture, the antichrist is revealed and those who are not raptured as members of the church. And if you love the Lord Jesus Christ, you love the church. And if you're not raptured out of here, you're going to go through this. One of the things I want you to pay particular attention to on this chart, and I hope all of you are able to get one. I had 25. Several of them were given out ahead of time to the preachers that were here and to the pastor. But if you don't have one, let me know and I will order another one for you. This was made by Dr. Lance Ketchum. He's a friend of mine. He's president of the Midwestern Independent Bible Fellowship of Pastors Up North. He's been around a long time. He's currently the pastor of Shepherds Fold Baptist Church in Wisconsin. Good man, very studious, very erudite, very learned. By the way, he just wrote a book, which after I started teaching on repentance, he sent to me. I have published it. It's not even in a book form yet. Well, it has been printed now, but we haven't even had a chance to get a copy of the book ourselves. But here is the book. I printed it out, and it says, Learning to Lead, Converting the Heart. If your heart isn't converted, not just head knowledge, You are not going to be in the rapture. And you're going to go through these things. I'm not trying to scare you into believing in the Lord Jesus Christ, because He's the answer to all of our questions. It's not some man, it's not some scholar, it's not some pastor. It's the Lord Jesus Christ. But if you are not saved, And you are not raptured out of here, which is coming soon. You're going to go through the seal judgment, the trumpet judgments, and the bowl or vial judgments. Now, a lot of people don't understand that. Let me just tell you that in the beginning, first half of the trip, the seal judgments will come. The seventh seal will open the trumpet judgments. At the end of the trumpet judgments, which there are seven also, The seventh trumpet opens the vial or bowl judgment. They are horrible. You don't want to be on the face of the earth. It'll be the most troublous time ever on the face of the earth. Brother Jack and I were talking about that in the prayer room this morning. That's so many people not knowing the Lord Jesus Christ are going to go through the And I pray that what I'm saying this morning, some will remember and come to a knowledge of the truth. What is knowledge? Knowledge is facts. What is understanding? Being able to connect the facts. What is discernment? Discernment is being able to determine ahead of time something that's evil and that you should avoid. Three very important terms. Now, let me find... And always, you see how thick this thing's getting? There are a lot of things here that I want to be sure that you know And if I don't find it, then it means that the Lord didn't want me to present it to you this morning, but I believe He does. And I can remember most of them, but hold on just a moment. Okay, I found them. Why do I think the Lord is coming? And very soon. The signs are there if you've been reading your Bible and you understand. Let me also tell you that part of the ministry of the last of the last days in the course of this dispensation, these past 2,000 years are the last days, but we're in the latter or the last of the last days. How do we know that? Because of the signs that we're seeing. And Christ warned us, admonished us, to be aware of those signs, did he not? What does admonish mean? It means warning. What is a newthetic? Newthetic is warning. A newthetic counselor is a warning ministry. That's what Brother Jimmy Carter does. He has a newthetic ministry to the young ladies that he takes care of. Let me read you a verse. Romans 15 and 14. You don't have to turn there yet. We're going to get to a lot of scripture, I hope. And I myself also am persuaded of you, my brethren, that ye also are full of goodness, filled with all knowledge, able also to admonish one another. The reason I read that, admonish means warn. It's up to you to warn your families, particularly those that are not saved in your families. Warn them about what's coming. right there on that chart. Take that chart and show them. Use your scripture, your Bible, the book of Revelation, and go through it. You get a blessing, by the way, by reading the book of Revelation if you haven't done that. 1 Thessalonians 5, 12. Remember, we've been in 1 and 2 Thessalonians. And what I'm doing today is wrapping that up, and then we're going into the book of Galatians. And the reason we're going into the book of Galatians is because of all the false gospels out there today. And people have been led to believe they're saved and they're not saved. We know that. And I've told you this before. I've had great preachers tell me that at least 90% of the people sitting in the pews in their churches are not saved. You need to examine yourself to see if you be in the faith. Here it is. And we beseech you brethren. to know them which labor among you, that's your pastors, your teachers, your deacons, and are over you in the Lord and admonish you." We are in a warning ministry in the latter days of the last days. The last days is the age of grace, the church age. We are in the church age and it's about to draw to a close. Why do we say that? Do you know about Jews, of course, right there in Israel? And people think Israel, well, they think of the land. You know what I think of? I think of the Jews scattered around the world. But you know what? A lot of the Jews right now, for whatever reason, and I'll give you a reason why I think this, are coming to know the Lord Jesus Christ. As a matter of fact, in a recent survey, by Barna B-A-R-N-A Association in California. They're a survey group, and I've used them for years because they're very reliable. They tell us that 21% of millennial Jews are now believing in the Lord Jesus Christ. 21%. That's a marked increase recently than what it has been. What is a millennial person? Those of you that were born about early 1980s and graduated from high school in the year 2000 are called millennials. Generations are important to us because between 1946 and 1964 is the baby boomers generation. That was right after World War II. Following the baby boomer generation is what we call the X generation, because they're between about 64 and the millennials who began in early 80s and graduated from high school at 2000. We are now, however, in the post-millennial generation, the emerging church and all the false gospels and those things that are going on around the world. So that's one indication. Why? 21% now. You remember the 144,000 from the 12 tribes? God knows where the 12 tribes are. We don't. We've lost their identity, but God knows who they are. And all of these are now starting to come to the Lord Jesus Christ as Christ gets ready in the tribulation to call out those 144,000 Jews, 12,000 from each of the 12 tribes, who will go around the world preaching the gospel of the kingdom. The gospel of Christ will be finished. We are now in the gospel of Christ. If you don't know what the difference between the gospel of Christ and the gospel of the kingdom is, you need to know. Have you been in Sunday school? Have you been in church? Have you been listening to the preachers in the pulpit? Do you even remember anything that happened this past week from the pulpit? I hope you do. Some of the things they said were critically important. Okay, Millennials are those who, I told you that. Jerusalem is now the capital again of Israel. Can you imagine that? And yet we knew it was going to happen, did we not? From the scripture. Hosea 3, 4, and 5. For the children, listen, just listen. I'll get you to turn to some scripture in just a minute. I've read some of these before, but I want to give you this list. For the children of Israel shall abide many days without a king." Notice, they'll be dispersed. "...and without a prince, and without a sacrifice." Remember, they used to sacrifice in the temple for an efficacious sacrifice for their sins until the Lord Jesus Christ came. They still don't understand that, most of them. "...without an image, and without an ephod, and without a teraphim." Those were just symbols of the tribes. That's all that refers to. And I've told you this and I'll tell you again. They are pouring back into Israel right now from all over the world. And you know what? Those in America are now also beginning to leave America, the reports are telling us, and returning to Israel. That's a sign that the rapture is about to occur. Hosea 6-1, Come and let us return unto the Lord, for he hath torn, and he will heal us. He hath spitten, and he will bind us up. As you know, when Israel, they just celebrated 70 years incidentally, that's Independence Day, 70 years that the nation came back together in 1948, the Balfour Amendment, the Union, the UN rather, approved it and England helped them form Israel as a nation. In the latter days, who would have ever believed that Israel would have come together again as a nation? That's Scripture's truth. Absolutely true. And I have another verse here. I'm going to go on. What about the shekel? Have you ever heard of the shekel? It's all over the scripture. Guess what? The money in Israel is now called the shekel again. That's the sign because they had to bring a shekel in for their redemption back when they were sacrificing in the temple. How much is a shekel worth? About 28 cents. Now I have a long verse here, verses, but I'm not going to read them to you. I'm just going to give you the reference. But you've heard of Shekels. Well, it's now the money again in Israel. And by the way, the language is back again too. They speak Hebrew again. They had lost Hebrew for centuries. Centuries gone. Guess what? Hebrew is now spoken again. in Israel. You know what it says in Zephaniah? We're not going to turn there because I don't have time because I've got so much to tell you this morning. Because Zephaniah says, Lord said to Israel, you will speak a pure language again. You know what that pure language is? It's probably the language spoken in the Garden of Eden, Hebrew. They are now speaking Hebrew again in Israel. The cities in Israel are now being named again according to biblical names. They lost it for a while. They were being named after, as you know, Muslim names or Arabic names, but now they're changing the names back to biblical names. By the way, Dr. David Brown, again, another close friend of mine, just came back from Israel, and I posted on Facebook A video that he did presenting to his church the first part of their trip. There's going to be another part next week. But I think you'd find it fascinating if you get a chance to watch that. Another thing that indicates we're getting close to the Lord Jesus Christ coming back. Now remember, these are all points as we get to the end here. Some of the signs. The restoration of agriculture and of the trees and forest of Israel. Did you know for about 2,000 years, Israel has laid barren, sand about a foot, a foot and a half deep that couldn't grow anything. But then when the Jewish nation was reformed in 1948, within just a few years after its reformation, guess what they did? They took plows, plowed down a foot and a half, two feet, turned the good soil over, And Israel is just blossoming and blooming all over the nation Israel, the land. And they're supplying fruit to all the world now almost. There's another sign for you. Another sign, the great apostasy is here. I heard this morning, just this morning, that whatever this magazine is, and I have no idea what it is, it's called Go Magazine. says the Bible needs to be thrown away. It's just an old book that doesn't make any sense. There's all kinds of conflicts in it. Somebody, of course, who's not saved and has no idea about the Bible are making statements like that. But that's rampant around the whole world. There's another sign. It's the apostasy that's here, not only in the secular world, but in the religious world, the apostasy that's here. It's horrible. what churches are now teaching and believing instead of the Bible. And I mentioned this, I'll just throw it out again right fast. We know from Revelation 13 we talk about the image that speaks but is able to kill. Revelation 13. And we've wondered for years what in the world that image was. And I just presented this a few weeks ago. Do you know robots now can speak and they can be programmed to kill. Did you know there's a robot running for mayor of Japan in one of the cities in Japan? Did you know that right now they are debating whether to make robots citizens of the EU? Fact. Fact. So, I think I've got a picture. Here's one. Can you see it? Ray, come on. And hold up just a minute. I've got another one here, I believe. Here's something. They are now making robotic squid and octopus. You know where they make them? On the battlefield. They take a 3D printer. You know they have printers now that can make things 3D? And they just insert them. little things inside of them, and they can crawl through really small places and so on. The world, the knowledge, as Daniel told us, would explode in the end, and it is exploding. That is another sign. And I thought I had one more that's even better. Let's see if I can find it. Oh, here's one. Robots are conducting their own experiments now. So what I'm telling you is that we now believe the image in Revelation 13 without a doubt is a robot, which if you don't have the mark of the beast in the right hand or in the forehead, you will be killed. That's part of the tribulation. Strange creatures mentioned in Revelation 9. Have any of you taken the time to Google yet locusts and grasshoppers? There are hundreds of them now as drones that can be purchased by yourselves. By the way, that reminds me, if you have young children or young grandchildren, I would advise you to be sure your drapes and your blinds are closed for all the right reasons. Because these little drones can fly. They can peer through windows. They can take pictures. And if you're doing something wrong or you're indecently exposed in your home, those may appear on Facebook or on the internet. So I'm just warning you as families to be aware of that. Now, one other thing that's really significant are the earthquakes. You remember it says in scripture. that the Mount of Olives, when Jesus returns, the Mount of Olives will split. Well, guess what? There's increased, and Brother Leo, this is geologists. This isn't just some podunk you saying these things. These are well-trained geologists that are telling us the bottom of the Mediterranean Sea is beginning to shake and tremble and split. And you remember As I just said, the Mount of Olives is going to split. Well, here's the fault line. Runs right through the Mount of Olives. Right through the middle of it. And increased earthquakes are occurring even now in that area. Here is the... And this is from geologists. This isn't from me. This is some of the tremors they're experiencing and how the lines come over towards Israel. affecting those fault lines. We're just getting ready for the Lord Jesus Christ to come and for the Mount of Olives to split as He sets His feet down on the Mount of Olives, as it says in the Scripture, it will. You see, one of the things I get so frustrated with, oh, I don't believe the Bible, it couldn't be true. It's because you just don't know. As we talked here a week or so ago concerning the flesh melting off of the body while they're still standing. Their eyes melting out of their eyes. We had no idea how that might occur. Now we know, of course, because of the hydrogen and atomic bombs. We know now about the robots and the image that speaks and that can kill. We know about the drones and nine, the funny looking locusts and grasshoppers are just drones that man is developing. You see, the Bible is literal. One of the reasons I've always stood by the Bible is because it is literal. You don't have to guess. It's just true. You may not understand something right now, but eventually you will, or we will, understand. You can pass these around too, Ray. Thank you, Ray. I appreciate that, brother. You're a big help. Another comment, both Turkey and Greece have experienced major earthquakes in recent times. In fact, I'll read you this. In fact, geologists have noted recently that the floor of the Mediterranean Sea is fracturing like a sheet of glass. Okay. And I told you about the EU even considering making robots citizens. See, that's how fast we're advancing. Now, I told you about the seven years. What's coming? Okay? You may want to study this. Get your Bible out and study it about the trumpets, the seals, the trumpets, and the vials or the bowls while you look at this. Now, back to a topic that I introduced a while back concerning repentance. And we must deal with it some more. And why we must deal with it is because there are a lot of other gospels out today. And I say this, let me preface all of this by saying that we have some great men in this church who go out knocking on doors, doing their best to share the gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ with someone. But someone is always anxious to shut that door and get you out of there because they don't want to be told about the truth. But the greatest thing that, and I'm guilty of this too, and I'll tell you why I'm guilty of this. I'm guilty of presenting the gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ and not emphasizing repent enough. When Pat and I went to Hungary, we were the first people into Hungary after the wall came down. As missionaries, I may have mentioned this to you before, we were in Kiskin Hollis at a church there. I was given the privilege and honor of preaching in that church for about nine or 10 days. The communists were still there. They had just changed their clothes. So I was advised to be careful about what I said. At that time, I didn't know as much as I know now, but I was given the opportunity to visit with some teachers. They asked me to come to a teacher's home and present the gospel. Would you believe that? By the way, in that same period of time while I was in Hungary, some of the superintendents of school, if you would, invited me to come and present the gospel to the entire school. Can you believe that? You couldn't do that today, here. But what I'm building up to telling you is those teachers invited me to their home, and all the teachers came in. I got to present the gospel, and I used the Romans' road. Nothing wrong with that. And I know in my heart one of the teachers got saved. You know why? Her whole countenance changed. She just glowed. Yeah. That was a great experience. I'm telling you that I have been wrong about presenting the gospel in the past. You know what I left out? Repentance. Is repentance important? Turn in your books, your Bibles. This is the good book. Through Acts, if you would. Chapter 3. In verse 19, now we don't use Acts to establish a doctrine, but we use Acts to confirm what we believe from the other books in the Bible. But in Acts 3, chapter 9, it says, "...repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, when the times of refreshing shall come, from the presence of the Lord. That's the second coming of the Lord. The refreshing shall come from the presence of the Lord. Look at repent. That's the same word I've told you about in the past that is metanoia, a change in mind. Remember we said it's a change in mind towards God. And then we added another phrase that results in a change in your way of living or your action. See? That's repentance from a biblical point of view. That's one verse. Now some are telling us that repentance is included in believing. Could that be true? Turn to Acts 20. Look at verse 21. I'm going to show you that the Bible separates it. And then I'm going to read those quotes I told you several weeks ago I was going to read to you that some schools have been teaching that is wrong and that I believed even for a while because of the influence of Dallas Theological Seminary and also Hiles Anderson College. Should we call out people and call out names? Yes, the scripture does. So forgive me for doing that, but it's true. In Acts chapter 20, verse 21, testifying both to the Jews and also to the Greeks. Now this is Paul on his way back to Jerusalem, and he stops on the seashore and has some of the leaders in the church at Ephesus come down and meet him. The elders and the bishops who were the leaders in the church, the pastors in other words. to meet him to pray with him because he was in a hurry to get back to Jerusalem. And he was instructing them on what they should teach and preach and the things they need to watch out for. And here in this verse, in verse 21, testifying both to the Jews and also to the Greeks, repentance towards God and faith towards our Lord Jesus Christ. So what the scripture is saying is that part of the gospel is also repentance Do you have a godly sorrow? 2 Corinthians 17, I believe it is. Godly sorrow. Or is it worldly sorrow? Is it just regret for something you did wrong? Or do you understand there is a holy, holy, holy God? You see, holiness has been downplayed in these last days. People don't live their lives wholly. They don't do a lot of things that they should be doing if they're a child of God, respecting what God has taught them. Okay. It's just so critical. So read that again. Let's read it again. Acts 20 verse 21, testifying both to the Jews and also to the Greeks, repentance towards God and faith towards our Lord Jesus Christ. Repentance and faith. It's a conjunction. You've got to have both to get saved. Now some people, fortunately, in my eras, early on, when I presented just the Romans wrote, they got saved. I thank God for that. That's God's grace and mercy that allowed that. And why are we seeing so many people sitting in pews unsaved? Because they haven't been taught this. They don't know that, well, yeah, I'm sorry for what I did. So I'll go to church for a while. And then all of a sudden they're no longer in church because they haven't been saved. They don't love the church the way Christ loved the church. So they start backing off again. Real, real problem. Uh, let's see. I think there's one more verse I want to share with you. Let's see if I can find it right fast. Well, I didn't find it. But let me also share with you this. I examined every book in the Bible concerning repentance. Repentance in the Old Testament, I'll tell you again, is frequently the word turn, shab, is the Hebrew word, turn. Okay? They turn from their sin. They turn towards God. They repented of their sin. There is another word, well let me go on telling you about this first. If you look at the book of, I want to get the numbers exactly right because they're listening on the internet. In the book of Matthew, repentance is mentioned 11 times. In the book of Mark, it's mentioned 4 times. In the book of Luke, it's mentioned 14 times. In the Bible as a whole, repentance is one of its cognates. Repents, or repentance, or repented, like that, 66 times. The book of John, none. And so you know what they did at some of the universities? Well, if John didn't say anything about repentance, we don't have to repent. Whoa! If the Bible mentions it one time, you better listen. Okay? Let me see if I can find, here it is. Incidentally, as I started teaching on all this, books started turning up on my front doorstep. Isn't that interesting? I wonder why that happened. And just like Dr. Ketchum's book, I would highly recommend you pick this book up if you get a chance. Not because we publish it, but because it's true. Okay? Really a good book. Ketchum asked me to write a summary of the book, which I did, which we also posted on Facebook. You can go there and read that if you are inclined. Let me read you a statement now. This is by a very successful college that had thousands of students, okay? Thousands of students. And remember Dr. Larry Seals that was here and preached just recently? He was here in Sunday school, and I was talking about repentance. He asked me to come over and talk to him for a minute after Sunday school. And I went over and he says, you know, Doc, he says, what you taught today needs to be spread wide and far. He said, I went to blank, blank school where they didn't teach what you taught this morning. He says, I've given all that up because I don't believe it anymore. Okay. Now let me read you the statement by the president and the pastor of the church there. Sometimes you can talk to people and you ask them, have you received Christ? Do you believe in Christ? They responded by saying, oh yes, I believe in the Lord. The problem is that some of them believe in the Lord like they believe in George Washington. Okay. Now here's another one. What makes the wrath of God abide on a person? Believing not. There's truth in that. Repentance and faith. So, from what must a person repent in order to be saved? This is the president of that school now. He must repent of that which makes him lost. Since believing not makes him lost, believing makes him saved. The repentance there is a turning from the thing that keeps him from being saved to the thing that saves him. So yes, there is a repentance from unbelief in order to believe. That's not in the scripture anywhere. Not anywhere. It's repentance and faith. And all those examples I gave you from the various books affirm that. Paul, the great apostle Paul, the apostle to the Gentiles, taught this also. Have you, I ask you, have you gotten on your knees and wept and cried because of your sin towards the Holy God? If you haven't, you may not be saved. And the reason I'm doing that this morning is because of this. You may be going through that very shortly from the things that I told you. The signs of the end of the age. Now I'm going to give you one more, because this is a very prominent pastor that died just not long ago. I'm not going to give you his name. I'm not trying to attack anyone. What I'm trying to do is teach you what the Bible says. Here it is. The problem and confusion is not preaching repentance. You don't have to preach repentance, but attacking the wrong definition of the word. And I've told you over and over the definition of repentance. I hope it's up here now. For instance, to say that repentance means to turn from sin or to say that repentance is a change of mind that leads to a change of action is to give a wrong definition. That is so wrong. Now, this is a very famous, prominent preacher. If I gave his name, you'd know who it is. But that's the kind of thing they were teaching here in this last generation. Why do we have so many people sitting in church pews that aren't saved? Guys like me that didn't understand that, see? So we get them to do the 1, 2, 3, say after me prayer, and then tell them, oh, you're saved. Easy-believe-ism. Only-believe-ism. and easy prayerism. Now, I'm out of time, and we're going to cover those things next time I'm up here. Next week, I think we have an evangelist coming through. Then I'll have another Sunday, and then Pat and I got to go greet a new great-grandson in Florida that's coming. So, that's our plan. But we'll get back to those three things I just mentioned. That is, an other gospel that is so heavily criticized in Galatians chapter 1. You want to read that. It's in anathema. And we're going to talk about heteros and alos in chapter 1 of Galatians that's translated another gospel. And we're going to explain all that to you. So I hope you'll come back and hope you'll listen. And I hope if you haven't repented towards a holy God that you have done that and you will do that. before the trumpet sounds and the shout occurs, because we're out of here in a twinkling of an eye. And then you're going to have the Antichrist announced and the tribulation starts. I mean, that's from Scripture. That's not something I'm making up. And if we had time, I'd take you to all those places to do that. Brother Leo, would you close for us, brother?
