Teaching About the Lord's Deliverance

David had gotten himself into the difficult situation of living in a city of the Philistines. However, God delivered him out of the sticky circumstances. David has this teaching psalm, first to praise the Lord, but to teach who are the type of people that receive deliverance. This was a psalm that was used several times by Peter and quoted in reference to Christ's crucifixion.
