Man's Fallen Nature Re-emerges

Man's sin-nature was not washed away in the flood any more than the sin-nature is washed away through the waters of baptism or disappears through the application of the Saviour's redeeming blood. Even in the most gracious saint's life, the flesh can prove itself so strong, that a weak moment can turn into a sinful fall:
