Galatians 4:19-31 - "The Children of Promise"

This message continues an expository study of the book of Galatians. Paul uses the historical account of Abraham's two sons as an allegory to contrast the law and grace. Ishmael was born of a bondwoman, which typifies those who live by the bondage of the law. Isaac was born of the free woman, Sarah, by a promise, which typifies the grace-born children of God. We, as Isaac, are 'children of the promise'.
