Hello, my name is Steven Lee. I'm the founder of SermonAudio. And you know, just a few days ago, we were able to enjoy something that doesn't happen every day. And a number of students got to see it. We gathered around to enjoy and admire this solar event. Well, that reminded me of another solar event that took place in the time of Joshua. In Joshua chapter 10, we read about this most fascinating prayer that he offered up to God. Then spake Joshua to the Lord. And he said in the sight of all Israel, Son, stand thou still upon Gibeon and thou moon in the valley of Ajalon. What a prayer. And it says that the sun stood still and the moon stayed until the people had avenged themselves upon their enemies. So the sun stood still. You know, essentially what Joshua was praying for was more He was praying for more time to finish the job. This is The Vault behind me. I'm on the campus of Bob Jones University, and we've been spending the last number of weeks and months getting some GPU equipment into The Vault. Now, this Vault is very important for us because this is our way of securing our ability to preserve and to propagate sound preaching throughout all the world. So this is a very important project for us, but we have it in our sight to achieve what we're calling Global Sermons. And that's taking any sermon preached in English and having it re-preached in multiple languages so that one day we would love to see every sermon in every language But it's been taking us some time. It's been taking us time. And it's been very difficult. There's such a mountain ahead of us if we want to achieve Global Sermons, if we want to see this gospel of the kingdom preached in all the world as a witness to all nations, and then the end shall come. Lord, we need more time. Time is such a freight train that comes at full speed, and it's gone before you know it. And what we're praying for is more time to finish the job. Thank you.
On April 8, 2024, North America witnessed a rare solar eclipse, a dramatic spectacle not to be repeated for another 20 years. This solar event reminds us of the day the sun stood still for Joshua allowing him to have more time to finish the job. Similarly, we are praying for more time to climb the mountain ahead of us and reach the summit of GLOBAL SERMONS as we continue the arduous task of building out the infrastructure of THE VAULT on the campus of BJU.
This gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world as a witness to all nations, and then the end shall come. Lord, we need more time. That is our prayer. Please pray with us, and for us.
