Empty Tomb/Resurrected Lord

This resurrection passage at the end of Mark brings out the devotion of the women disciples and the doctrine-filled message of the angel. The other gospels tell us the women overcame their initial fear, obeyed the angel, and went and told the apostles of the empty tomb. Christ's resurrection confirmed the permanence of the incarnation and laid the groundwork for the coming resurrection of God's people.
