Genuine Love: Thoughtful and peaceable

Irenic is having a peaceable nature. We as Christians are to seek peace with even our enemies. The instructions in these verses teach us how we are to interact with one another as Christians and also to consider how we interact with society at large. We have a duty to seek peace with all people as much as we are able. There are times when peace isn't possible in cases where to achieve peace would mean to compromise value or conviction.
