David's Protest and Plea Part 1

This psalm consists of a deeply mournful protest against David's enemies.

He complains that he does not deserve to be persecuted with such harshness and cruelty. Especially as they have no cause to be against him. Therefore, David pleads with God to protect him and to deliver him because of his innocence.
