Avoiding Congregational Gangrene

Throughout world history, more deaths on battlefields have been from gangrene than from swords, bullets, or cannons. Gangrene is an apt metaphor for describing Satan's goal for the church. The church is a battlefield where Satan's schemes effectively make church squabbles spread like gangrene. It smells bad. It spreads quickly.
