The Cry of Dereliction

On Good Friday we reflect upon the cross and its meaning. Often much emphasis is placed on the physical torture which was part of Chris's passion as he was rejected by men. But at 12 noon great darkness fell upon the land and Jesus faced his greatest pain, the rejection of the Father.
