Here tonight, I want you to turn
to Ezekiel chapter 38 Ezekiel chapter 38 a my message tonight
is Russia in Bible prophecy is Russia in in Bible prophecy,
and I'm being honest, I didn't want to go here all week. I was
very determined, very sure that I wouldn't even go near this,
because with Ezekiel's war, we've taught on it before. I very much
intend to teach on it again fully. I'm not teaching on Ezekiel's
war tonight. I won't be doing that. but I
intend to in the future when it happens. I am so convinced
it's going to happen, and it's going to happen soon, that I'm
saving my messages until Russia actually invades Israel. Then
I'm going to teach on it more fully, more clearly than ever
I have before. That's how sure I am of that it's not a long time off,
but it's certainly not this present time. But my message is specifically,
is Russia in Bible prophecy? Is it mentioned in the Bible?
Is Russia as a nation mentioned there? Is its name mentioned
there? Is it inferred? Is it hinted
at? Is it assumed? We're gonna look
at this tonight, reading from Ezekiel chapter 38 and verse
one. And the word of the Lord came
unto me, saying, Son of man, set thy face against Gog, the
land of Magog, the chief prince of Meshach and Tabal, and prophesy
against him. And say, thus saith the Lord
God, behold, I am against thee, O Gog. the chief prince of Meshech
and Tabul. And I will turn thee back and
put hooks in thy jaws, and I will bring thee forth an all-night
army, horses and horsemen, all of them clothed with all sorts
of armor, even a great company with bucklers and shields, all
of them handling swords. Persia, Ethiopia, and Libya with
them, all of them with shield and helmet. Goomer, and all his
bands, the house of Tugarmah of the north quarters, and all
his bands, and many people with thee. Be thou prepared, and prepare
for thyself thou, and all thy company that are assembled unto
thee, and be thou a guard unto them. After many days thou shalt
be visited. In the latter years thou shalt
come into the land that is brought back from the sword and is gathered
out of many people. against the mountains of Israel,
which have been always waste. But it is brought forth out of
the nations, and they shall dwell safely, all of them. Thou shalt
ascend and come like a storm. Thou shalt be like a cloud to
cover the land, thou and all thy bands and many people. Let's pray together. Father,
I thank you for the Word of God, the Word of prophecy, that the
Holy Spirit not only spoke through men of God in times of old, but
you speak to us now through your Son in the written scriptures.
And we love the Lord Jesus Christ. Father, I pray that you make
us to glory in the Lord Jesus Christ even tonight. My God,
to rejoice that you are sovereign in the nations that you are deity,
that you are God of all creation, that you know all things before
they happen, that you record them in your book thousands of
years before they even begin to come to pass, and you do this
that we might know that you are God. that Israel might know that
you're the God of the Bible, that the heathen nations might
know that we in this room and in this meeting tonight. Lord
God, I pray, O God, show us the reality. Make us to know that
you are God. In Jesus' mighty name, amen. We know that dominating the news
at this time is Russia. Christians everywhere are talking
about Russia. Everyone is saying, are we about
to see Ezekiel's war? Is this the hour? Is this the
time? I want to tell you, this is not
the hour. Russia is not going to fall in
Ukraine. Russia's military might is not
going to be brought down to the dust in this hour. But the Bible
does prophesy when, where, how that Russia, or shall I say Magog,
is going to fall. I believe the Bible prophesies
very clearly that Russia is going to fall on a specific small short
range of mountains in a particular land. It's called Israel and
those mountains are called the mountains of Israel. There aren't
two places like that on the earth. There is only one, and the Bible
predicts that. My message here tonight is Russia
mentioned, spoken of, predicted in the Bible. This great nation,
this great people that are dominating the world scene, Are they actually
contained within Bible prophecy? When we come to Ezekiel's prophecy,
we read a certain term 72 different times. Listen to what it is.
And they shall know that I am the Lord. Right in the midst
of all the exact prophecies about nations, about Israel being restored
to her nation, about Israel being recovered from all nations of
the world and restored again on the mountains of Israel. He
says, I'm doing this so that you will know that I am the Lord. And many other prophecies are
given. 72 times this is said and stated in Ezekiel. Prophecy
isn't given for entertainment. It's not given to satisfy curiosity. Why is prophecy given? Why are
predictions made? Why did God restore Israel to
her nation after 1900 years? Why did he do that? Is it so
that we can merely be entertained or have some information? Why
did he do that? There's one reason why God restored
Israel to our ancient nation. Only one reason. The Jew might
know that I am the Lord. And I'll tell you what's more,
there's other prophecies and we're going to mention them here.
He gives other things that haven't happened yet. They're about to
happen. And Israel needs to be internation
before they happen. They only happen after Israel
was restored. And after 1900 years, she was
restored in 1948. But there are other things to
happen. And in fact, the Bible emphasizes that God has recorded
these things and that he's going to do them for this reason. That
you, the heathen nations, that you, Israel, that you, my people,
will know that I am the Lord. I mean know that I am the Lord. So my question tonight, is Russia
mentioned in Bible prophecy? My answer is yes. And I'm going
to show you, and I want you to learn this tonight. There's a
Bible study. World events are moving around
us. News is dominated by Russia,
but is Russia explicitly and clearly mentioned in the Bible?
I want to give you three points to prove Russia is mentioned
explicitly, blatantly, publicly in our Bible. And I want to give
you three ways to prove it so that you know, so that you can
show someone else And so that we as a church know we are grounded
in the scripture. It's not an idea. It's not a
trend. It's not a theory that goes through the church. I want
to prove to you that Russia is. And here's my three reasons or
three proofs. And I could give you more, but
I'm going to limit it to three. So you can learn this, believe
this, and understand this. Number one, And this is the first
reason why I believe Russia is mentioned in Bible prophecy.
Number one, ancient Magog is present day Russia. I'm going
to prove to you or show you that Magog is clearly mentioned in
the Bible. It's explicitly mentioned here. But I'm going to show you the
ancient name Magog is the present day name for Russia. It's one
and the same. Now this term Magog, we've read
it here in Ezekiel 38 already. It's the main nation mentioned in this prophecy. It's the number one nation. It's
the first nation. And there's a prophecy to the
general or the leader who is going to come from this nation.
He is born in that nation. He is from that nation. And he's
going to lead an army from that nation. The nation is called
Magog. Now the first mention of this
name Magog in the Bible is further back in Genesis chapter 10 and
verse 2. When you go back to Genesis 10,
you read the table of nations. What you have there in Genesis
is an exact family tree from Noah. The flood has happened. Noah and his three sons come
off the ark. And then you begin to read the
children. of Japheth and Shem and Ham,
the three sons of Noah. And you begin to read the names
of these children, and then the grandchildren of these children,
and then the tribes and the people that come out. In fact, you read
70 nations, or 70 languages that come forth. You know the tower
of Babel, they were all of one language, they were all in one
place, they were all united together and God came down and confused
them. How did he confuse them? By giving
them different languages. And do you know what he separated
them into? It was 70 different peoples or nations. Do you know
what that shows me? There must have been 70 different
languages in order to separate all the people of the world.
You know, language experts today say that all languages go back
to about 70 languages. That's about the amount of original
authentic languages. And so when you go back to Genesis
10, you have all of the original people that were born from Noah. You have the children and the
grandchildren and the great-grandchildren. And each of these men who are
mentioned become the head of a family, and then a head of
a people, and then a head of a tribe, and a head of an entire
nation. I mean an entire nation is named
after them. And then wherever they settle,
that country or bit of land where they settled gets named after
that entire people. Okay, so if you understand that,
It says in Genesis 10 verse 2, the sons of Japheth, listen to
who they are, seven of them, Gomer, Magog, see that name Magog,
Madi, Javan, Tubal, we've already mentioned him, Meshach, and Teraz. So look at this Japheth, and
I'm descended from Japheth, okay? Brother Soph probably isn't. And so you have a genealogy here
that goes right back to the very beginning. And what you have
here is Magog mentioned as the son of Japheth, the grandson
of Noah. He is a man, he's an individual.
And yet we know later when we come to Ezekiel, there's an entire
people called Magog who are still going to exist in the last days.
When Israel is gathered out of all nations and put in their
nations, the Bible says there is an entire people called Magog. That's their ancient name. And
if you go back and can find who was Magog in old days, If you
find that out, who Magog was, you then know who is going to
invade Israel in the last days. You can find that out. You can
discover that. There were seven sons of Japheth. And Magog was the grandson of
Noah. Now, Josephus, who is a historian
in the first century, during the lifetime of Jesus, the early
church, and he wrote ancient history. He was actually living
within the Roman Empire when the Roman soldiers destroyed
Jerusalem. He was an early historian who
wrote about all of the ancient history. Listen to what he says
about this. He said, Magog founded the Magogians. thus named after him, but who
were by the Greeks called the Scythians. Here he says, and
you can trace all the Greek writers, going back to the time of Ezekiel
and before Ezekiel and after Ezekiel, all of them talked about
this great people called the Scythians. And Josephus, this
historian, reading the Greeks, he said, those that we call Magog,
the people of Magog, or the land of Magog, is actually called
the Scythians by the Greeks. That's how they recognized them. Let me tell you for a moment
who the Scythians were, where they lived, and what sort of
a people they were. The Scythians were a people that
lived just above the Middle East in a place called the Steps of
Russia. That is an entire region 5,000 miles long. It begins with Ukraine,
and it's above the Mediterranean, above the Middle East. And beginning
at Ukraine in the West, it goes all the way through to Mongolia
in the East, a distance of 5,000 miles. If you go further and
higher, it gets very cold and mountainous. If you come lower,
it gets very hot and you're into all of the other nations. A part
of this whole region that was part of Scythia was Serbia. Serbia today has about 10% of
the world's land mass of ground that you can inhabit in the entire
world. It's a massive region. And these
Scythians lived in this area just above the Black Sea. So
from Ukraine to Mongolia, you had this entire region. In ancient
accounts, they said that the Scythians were nomads. They were horsemen. They traveled. They didn't just settle. They
didn't build houses. They're constantly on the move,
all through the steppes of Russia, all through from Mongolia, all
the way through to Ukraine. They are a moving, warring, fighting
people. They're different tribes. In
fact, a confederation of different tribes, different peoples. And
they reached their height during the days of Ezekiel. From about
900 BC through to 200 BC, they dominated that whole region of
the world. They just traveled. They dominated.
They were a fighting people. But they had the same culture,
all distinct tribes, all in different areas, all moving in different
directions. And yet the one same culture.
They had the same dialect. They wore the same clothes. They
lived the same lifestyle. They even made the same horse
gear for the horses. And they're noted by the mark
of tattoo on their body. The one people worldwide who
tattooed their body were these Scythians. They were noted for
it. They painted their bodies. So
all of their habits, all of these tribes, they're all horsemen.
They're all fighters and warriors. Do you know how we know about
them? They didn't leave any written
history. The Greeks wrote about them, and the Chinese, and the
Armenians, and the Syrians wrote about them. You know why all
those nations, you had these tribes up above them. In that
entire wide region of thousands of miles. And you know at times
they would come down and invade the Greeks. And they would come
down and invade the Assyrians. And they would come down and
invade the Chinese. And they would come down and
invade various nations. And they would write about them.
That these men, these warriors would come down and invade them.
But you know it's not too long ago. That all of a sudden, I
think about 300 years ago. that explorers began to discover
ancient burial sites all through that entire region. And in fact,
the burial sites were utterly untouched. No one had robbed
them. No one had opened them. And they went back 2,500 years
to the days of Ezekiel. They'd never been opened. These
are ancient kings. And you know what? They were
frozen in there. Because of the temperature of
the weather, everything was preserved. And the archaeology, they could
go in and see all that this people were. And so you had in the days
of Ezekiel, they are raiding the inhabited nations below them. As Syria, Armenia, China, and
the heartland of this people. Listen to this carefully. The
heartland of this people were Ukraine and Russia. That's where they dominated. That was their very homeland. To the north and the east of
the Black Sea was where they made their fundamental base,
and that's where they moved out from, and that's where they always
come back to. This is above Turkey, directly
above Turkey, above Armenia, above Iran, and this is where
they dwelt. When the Bible talks about Magog,
it's speaking about the Scythians, unknown people. And yet there's
a prophecy here in Ezekiel's day. Ezekiel knew about this
people. He knew about their raids. But
do you know what? They never raided Israel. They
wouldn't get anywhere near Israel. You had Turkey and Armenia and
the Assyrians. You had great nations between
Magog and the little tiny nation of Israel. When Ezekiel is prophesying,
he prophesies about Magog. He knew where they were, he knew
who they were, and he knew their reputation. And he's prophesying
about a day and an hour and a time when they are going to invade
the nation of Israel, the mountains of Israel. This is very, very
specific. You see, Magog, was a real place
and a real nation. Now, over the centuries and millennia,
you'd get people going out from Magog and they'd migrate. They would move. They didn't
all stay in the same place, but the region, the land of Magog
remained the same. It doesn't change. Do you know
why I say that? because there was immigration.
This will shock you what I'm about to tell you, unless you
read our first newsletter in this church seven years ago,
because I give the information there. Do you know Magog, descendants
from Magog went out across the earth? Do you know in the ancient
records of Ireland, do you know where our only authentic Irish
records, where they said the first inhabitants of Ireland,
who they were and where they came from? In our record books,
in the book of invasions of Ireland, it says it was Magog, descendants
of Magog. It says it was the Scythians
who came with Egyptians and who landed on Ireland. They were
the first ones to reach Ireland and begin to inhabit it. This
is the ancient records also of the Picts in Scotland. They say,
we go back to Magog. We are of the Scythians. Why
do you think the Picts, they still haven't translated the
language of the Picts. Remember the Picts, what's the
notable mark of the Picts? They painted their body. They
tattooed their bodies. They were warlike. And so that's
by the way, I want to tell you Ireland is not going to invade
Israel in the last days. Very important that you know
that. But do you know what? A low Magog, descendants of Magog
went everywhere across the world. I don't know who some of your
ancestors are to be honest. But do you know what? The land
of Magog remains the same. When you come to Ezekiel 38,
We read a prophecy against Gog of the land of Magog. Magog is
a land, it's a country, it's a region in the world. There's
a prophecy given that once Israel gets gathered back out of all
nations, then the land of Magog, a great leader from the land
of Magog, is going to invade Israel. And so I hope you realise
there's an explicit prophecy about Russia. What was Magog? It was the Scythians. It was
that entire region north of Israel, above the Middle East. It was
all of that land mass. My second point. The first one
is, ancient Magog, the name Magog is present day Russia. They're
both in the same place. Number two, Magog comes from
the extreme north. Three times in this prophecy
of Ezekiel 38, the extreme north is mentioned in connection with
this invasion and with this army. Look at verse 6, it says, Now
there's several nations mentioned connected with Magog, or Russia,
who invade Israel. One of them here, and only one
of the other several, is mentioned being in the north. All of the
rest, we're not told they're in the north. That means all
of the other ones that are mentioned, like Libya and Persia, they're
further south. And we know those nations are
further south. But here is a nation that's going
to be joined to Magog. It said it comes from the north
quarters and all his bands, many people with thee. So there's
one nation that's aligned with Magog and it says it's towards
the north. Then listen as well. Verse 15,
and thou shalt come, speaking about Magog and Gog, thou shalt
come from thy place out of the north parts, and many people
with thee, all of them riding upon horses, a great company,
and a mighty army. So where does Magog come from?
From the land of Magog. Where is the land of Magog? It
is in the north parts. It's to the north of these other
nations. And then last of all in chapter
39 in verse 2, And I will turn thee back, and leave but the
sixth part of thee, and will cause thee to come up from the
north parts, and will bring thee upon the mountains of Israel. Here's an entire army, and we're
being told they come from the north parts, and they'll invade
the mountains of Israel. The word north that's used here
in connection with Magog. Listen to what it means in the
Hebrew. It means the dark and gloomy region. You wouldn't say
that about the Mediterranean. If you go on a Mediterranean
cruise and come back and tell me it was dark and gloomy and
dour. I'm going to have a few questions
for you. But if you go north of the Mediterranean,
the entire north of the Mediterranean, its name in ancient culture and
in the Bible is called the dark and the gloomy region. You know
you need to go north in order to reach a dark and gloomy region. Italy is not dark and gloomy,
neither is Greece, neither is Turkey, neither is Israel. You've
got to move up into the north in order for it to be dark and
gloomy. And then look at the word attached
in these three verses to the north. The North Quarters, the
North Parts. Now this term is very interesting.
The term Quarters and Parts. When you look that up in the
Hebrew, it means the uttermost parts. The furthest part of the
North. far north or on the coastal regions
of the north. Do you know what it's saying
here? It's speaking about going as far north as you can possibly
go. When it talks about Magog invading
Israel, it's talking about an entire army coming from the very
far Golumi region and province and invading the little nation
of Israel. So we see first of all that Gog
Magog is the ancient name for the name Russia. But we also
see here it's talking about an army in our day and generation
that's going to come from the far north and invade Israel in
a remarkable way. Here's something else about this
term north to show you and to prove that it can't be anything
else than Russia. Jeremiah and Ezekiel both prophesied
that Israel would be scattered throughout all of the nations
and then regathered from all nations. This was not fulfilled
when they went into captivity in Egypt. And it wasn't fulfilled
when they went into Babylon. And it wasn't fulfilled when
they got carried into captivity in Assyria. Egypt, Babylon, Assyria,
it's not that. But it's prophesied about a time
when Israel would be scattered amidst all nations of the world.
That's only happened once. And that was after AD 70 up to
1948, for a period of 1,900 years. It didn't happen at any other
point in history apart from that period. They were scattered in
all nations, not one or two nations. And what Ezekiel and Jeremiah
say is that at a time when they're scattered amongst all nations,
God is not only gonna scatter them, but he's gonna regather
them from all nations to the little nation of Israel. He goes further than that. Listen
to this, he goes further. And he says, not only will he
regather them from all nations, But at that same time when they're
being regathered from all nations, that they're specifically going
to be gathered from a particular place. It says there in Jeremiah
chapter 31 and verse 8, Behold I will bring them from the north
country and gather them from the coasts of the earth. It's talking about extreme distance. A great company shall return
hither to Israel. So at the very same time that
God is regathering them from all nations, he actually prophesies
two and a half thousand years ago, 1,500 years before he scatters them,
he's prophesying about regathering them. And at the time he regathers
them, one of the most notable places is the land of the North,
the country of the North. That country has to have a name
and an identification. Listen again what is prophesied
here in Jeremiah 23 verse 7. to verse 8, it says, In fact,
he goes further and he prophesies and he said, Just as you used
to be known as the nation that was brought out of Egypt, and brought up. Wasn't Israel
known as the nation delivered out of Egypt by Moses? He said,
you won't be known by that name anymore. You, in the days ahead,
when I regather you again and gather you out of all nations,
when you come from all nations of the world, you are going to
be known as the people that have been brought out of that northern
nation. And I believe that gives us the
identification of the country that's going to invade them as
well. Let me give you a few facts here from our generation. In just one Decade. Do you remember when communism
fell? Remember when the communist nations
opened up? I can remember as a child we
prayed for the communism, for the Berlin Wall to fall all through
my childhood. And you'd pray against communism
and that the Jews would get released and the Christians wouldn't be
persecuted anymore. That was my childhood. And then
I remember the day watching the television when the Berlin Wall
fell and communism fell and Gorbachev come out and release the people. Listen, in just one period of
decade, one period of 10 years, from 1989 to 1999, 800,000 Jewish
immigrants left Russia for Israel to seek citizenship. Before 1989, there were more
Jews in Russia than any other country in the entire world. Since the year 2000, it has been
noted that 20% of Israel's population were born where? In Russia, one out of every five. and still speak in this new millennium,
they still speak Russian in their Israeli homes, in Israeli cities,
they're Israeli citizens. And yet there's times and even
cities in Israel, if you go to today, 50% of that population
speak Russian as their first native language. Russia is now
the third language in Israel after Hebrew. and Arabic. As we look at all of these things,
you begin to see the Bible The Bible clearly identifies
Russia in the last days. What was the first thing? Magog,
ancient Magog, is the same as present day Russia. The names,
the region, the area, the people. The second point is that Magog
comes from the region of the north. There is only one region. What other country competes with
Russia to the north? What other one could you confuse
it with that's north of the Middle East? There is no other nation.
It is this nation. Israel is now known as a nation
regathered from many nations of the world.
They are the most diverse culture in the entire world. It's remarkable. but they're also known as a nation
recovered, restored from Russia. Pardon me. I told you a few years
ago, and I read it at the time in the newspaper, how Putin had
just inherited a house in Jerusalem. His old school teacher that taught
him as a young boy was a lady, a Jewish lady who then moved
back to Israel, back to Jerusalem. And when she died, she left in
her will that Putin now had her house in the city, in the city of Jerusalem. And
so he's got a better land. He's got a better, I don't know
what he done with it, whether he sold it or gave it away. But
we see from this, that the land of the North is Russia. And it's
the land of the North this army is gonna come from. The same
nation out of which so many Jews have come out of. Pardon me. It's the same nation
that's going to invade Israel in the last days, third and lastly.
Magog confederates with contemporary nations. Let me say that again.
Magog, that is spoken about in the Bible, that ancient land,
in the last days, in our generation, confederates with contemporary
nations that we all know and we look at in the news all the
time. Look at Ezekiel 38, verse 3. And say, thus saith the Lord
God, I am against thee, O Gog, the chief prince of Meshach and
Tabul, Persia, verse five, Persia, Ethiopia, and Libya with them. Verse six, Gomer and all his
bands, and the house of Togomer of the north quarters, and all
his bands, and many people with thee. So you see that Magog is
mentioned with several other distinct nations. They're named,
they can be identified, and in fact it takes very little research
to identify all these countries as countries that we know. Each
of these countries have a military force. All but one of them is
a Muslim nation. All but one is very against Israel. And all but one is presently
aligned with Russia in some sort of union. When you begin to look
at these nations, Russia is being identified by its name, it's
Magog, from the north, the region it is in, where Israel has been
regathered from. But you also see now that Russia
as Magog is joining in our lifetime and present history, is joining
with each one of these nations. And in fact, I've researched
this and I've taught on it before, how that each of these nations,
Russia has armed them all. I've gone through all the interconnections
of Russia with each one of these nations, and it's remarkable. But before I finish on this point,
I want to move something out. Bad interpretation of Scripture. Bad application of Bible prophecy. I don't like it. I hate it when
Scripture is taken out of context, when it is stretched, when it
is pulled so wide it loses its meaning. I hate people trying
to push Bible prophecy into meaning something it doesn't mean. I
don't like that, okay? So I'm going to move something
out of the way that people try to do that with. You see three
times in this prophecy in Ezekiel 38, three times, listen to what
it says. Gog, the chief prince of Meshach
and Tabul. Gog is a man. Gog is a title
of a general, a captain, or a leader. That's what Gog is. It's like
Caesar or Kaiser are some of these titles. And so it identifies
a man, a leader. He is from the land of Magog.
He is a Russian. He is from the land of the north.
And yet here it says, he is the chief prince or the leader of
Meshach and Tabul. And so certain Bible teachers,
to prove this is Russia, they press it, the text, further than
they ought to. What they actually say is Meshech,
mentioned here, is Moscow. That's what they say, the capital
city of Russia. They then look and see Tobol.
They say, that's Tobolsk, a province in Russia. And then they look
further in this simple statement and the word chief there, Gog
the chief prince. If you look it up in the Hebrew,
the word chief is the Hebrew word Rosh. And they said Rosh
is where we get the name Russia from and Russians. And so they
say, there you go, you have Moscow, you have Tobolsk, and you have
Russia, all identified with Gog. Now I want to tell you, That
is bad interpretation. And you know what? People then
laugh at this sort of thing and they threw Russia out the window.
And they try to make Magog to be Turkey. And they say, it's
a Muslim nation, it's Turkey. And the idea of Russia being
Magog, it's a crazy idea. You see, when you don't treat
scripture right, truth gets thrown out and gets mocked and gets
ridiculed. So let me tell you why I don't
believe this is Moscow and it's not Russia written here. This
Hebrew word Rosh is used 600 times in the Old Testament Hebrew,
600 times. Guess how many times out of the
600 it's talking about a nation? Absolutely none unless you make
this a country, Rosh, Russia. All the other 599 times, it means
the top, the beginning, or the chief. It can mean the source,
the head, or the leader. It's talking about a chief prince,
not Roche, not the Russians, not the Ruskies. This word actually
means the prince who exalts himself, a king, a leader of a nation,
the head man of the entire military force. And so we see that Gog
from Russia is going to be the chief prince of Meshech and Tabul. Well, if Meshech and Tabul isn't
Moscow and Tobolsk, then what is it? Well, you can identify
all the nations. When you begin to look at Meshach
and Tabal, they're always mentioned together in the Bible. You can
go back into ancient records. I'm not even giving you the information
here tonight. I just want you to learn the
truth. Is Russia mentioned in the Bible? We are going to preach
and teach on Ezekiel's war again in the future because it's going
to happen. I don't believe it'll be 30 years away. I believe at
least some of you are going to be sitting here. You're going
to be alive and you're going to see it happen and you're going
to read about it happening. I don't know if I will or not.
But I tell you what, it's close enough for me to see it. And
I intend to preach on it. And I've got my notes and I'm
not preaching it. Maybe until then. So who's Meshach and Tabul? Meshach isn't Moscow. The name actually comes from
a very ancient people in Ezekiel's day. They're called the Meshki. or the Muskie. Just because something
sounds the same doesn't make it the same. Don't make that
mistake. Where were the Muskie from? They
were from central Turkey in the region of Phrygia. What about
Tabul? The Tabul was the Tabali or the
Tabarani. They're in eastern Turkey in
the part of Pontus. So here's two names mentioned
of two peoples. Both of them were in Turkey.
And then look at verse 6, it mentions Gomorrah. Do you know
Gomorrah was also in the region of Turkey? So it mentions three
different peoples who settled in certain areas and it was all
within present day Turkey. This is the first country after
Magog or Russia that's mentioned here. And because it's mentioned
in three different ways, three different peoples, you know what?
It's very important. Do you realize that this Russian
leader is going to be the head or the leader of Turkey, the
military power of Turkey, the military army? Do you know that
Turkey has one of the biggest armies in the world? It's got
one of the biggest tank forces in the world. And we're told
here this Russian leader is going to arise and he is going to be
the chief leader of Turkey or the military force of Turkey. So that's the first country aligned
with Russia here. What's the second one? The second
one, it talks about in verse four, all of God's army. And then in verse 5 it mentions
Persia. So there's a description of all
of the army here. And the next country it's mentioned
is Persia. Russia, Turkey, then Persia. Who is Persia? Until 1935, the
ancient name of Persia from Ezekiel's day remained the same right through
until 1935. It was Persia. Iran is present-day Persia. In 1935, the name was changed
to Iran. But we still know it as Persia.
It has existed all through these ages. It's in the same place,
it's the same people, and it has the same name. Their language
is called Persian. One of their two languages is
Persian. And so we see this ancient prophecy
isn't something strange, archaic, outdated. It's actually very
contemporary. And so we see Russia with Turkey
with Iran aligning. Is it happening in our day? And
so we identify who Magog is, where they lived. We see that
it's going to come from the northern region and there's no competitors. But in this third one, we see
an alignment of Magog joining itself to certain nations in
our generation. After Israel's back in her land.
After Israel blossoms again. After Israel is prospering. It only happened in 1948. It
says after that, that Magog will join itself to Turkey and Iran. Has this happened? Do you know
that until 2002, Turkey was a very mild nation? It wasn't fundamentalist. In fact, Erdogan, who is the
present leader of Turkey, he was in a prison cell for five
months for his radical Muslim views. for his extremist views,
so they put him in prison. That's what the Turkish authorities
thought about him. But in 2002, there was a revolution,
and Erdogan took over and gained power, and he made Turkey a radical
Muslim nation. When I was young, you never heard
Turkey mentioned, apart from Turkish delight. That was the
only Turkey you ever heard of. Not the military, not Islam,
not extremism. It was a mild non-entity. But since the year 2000, Turkey
has risen as one of the greatest enemies of Italy. or sorry, of
Israel as a militant enemy. What about Iran? Iran used to
be a mild nation until the CIA went in, started a revolution,
and she became a radical Muslim nation. You want to know why
Iran is such a problem to America and to the Western world and
is such a threat to Israel? Do you realize it used to be
friendly and non-combative? And it wasn't radicalized, but
the CIA, like with so many other nations, you know it was only
in 2016, the CIA went in and tried to bring about a coup in
Turkey, and it failed. You know who told them? Russia.
Russia warned Turkey, said, you know what, the CIA are coming
in to bring a coup in your nation. and they clamped down on it.
Thank you, Russia, for letting us know. Who else is aligned
with them here? Ethiopia, or Put. Sorry, Ethiopia, which is Kush. That's the nation of Sudan, a
radical Muslim nation. Then it mentions Libya, which
is still called Libya. It could include Algeria, Morocco
and Tunisia. Watch out brother Soph. And so
you have an alignment there. Then you have Armenia mentioned. That's Togarmah. Remember the
other one that's to the north? Mentioned to the north of all
these other nations. Where's Armenia? It's right up
there. Just below Russia. It's the most
northern nation above the Middle East. Do you know Armenia? Do
you know in their ancient books they say in olden days we were
called Togarmah? Culturally, they now talk about
themselves like that, like the Irish do about Magog. You need
to be careful about Ireland in these days, I want to tell you.
And so we see here an alignment with Magog that's going to happen
in our day and generation. Turkey will be there. Iran will
be there. Sudan will be there. Libya will
be there. Armenia will be there. Algeria
will be there. and many other forces and troops
and bands of soldiers and they're all going to join with Magog
and a great leader is going to arise. This utterly convinces
me that Russia is prophesied in the Bible and is going to
play a significant part in our day and generation and they're
not going to fall in Ukraine. And they're not going to be brought
down to destruction. They're going to fall in Israel.
They're going to invade Israel. Do you know with all the Western
forces, and I don't understand this. You know, two weeks ago,
all the people, all my friends on Facebook, and all Americans,
and all the people in Britain, all the people in Northern Ireland,
and all these nice Christians who are against masks, and we're
against vaccines, and they're saying the media's being hijacked,
and the Western powers of the UK and Ireland and America and
Canada are abusing us. Two weeks and they've forgotten
that. And now all of a sudden in the past week, they're actually
being affected by the same media and the same politicians to say
Putin is the worst tyrant, And the Canadian Prime Minister,
and the British Prime Minister, and the EU leadership are all
standing up and saying, we're standing for democracy and liberty
in Ukraine, and freedom of rights, and we are standing, and we're
against the tyrant Putin, and we're against Russia, and Russia
is terrible. And all these Christians, I'm
watching them on Facebook and everywhere else. saying how bad
Putin is. Now Putin or whoever is in power
is going to be judged and is going to fall very soon. But
if you're listening to the media and you're demonising Putin at
this present time, you are brainwashed. Do you realize all the Western
powers who are against Putin have been tyrannizing us, and
taking away our liberties, and taking away our rights, and trying
to force us, and saying, we'll shut down your bank accounts,
and we'll deny you the right to work in your job. And now
they're looking at Ukraine and saying, we're for liberty and
freedom, and all the Western powers are uniting. Isn't it
strange? Boy, someone just switched me
off on YouTube. I just know it. Probably get
unscribed here. Do you know what? We're living in
a very interesting day. And there's one reason why we're
told all this, that you might know that I'm God. That you would know that I am
the Lord. Do you know the Bible predicts
very accurately about Magog? Ezekiel, five, six hundred years
before Christ, prophesies that this is going to happen, how
it's going to be led into, what's happening with Israel and the
nations of the world, and immigration, and the birthing of a small nation,
and then how these world powers are going to join together, and
how they're going to turn against Israel, and worldwide wars. Do you realize it's our God that
says all of this? Listen to why He says He's going
to destroy that army. on the mountains of Israel. Listen
very carefully. I want to have your ears and
your heart as we close. It's very important what I'm
about to say. We haven't touched on all of
Ezekiel's war. I'm just proving that Russia
is in the Bible. Now let me finish by showing
you why God is going to do this and why he's revealed it in the
Bible. Ezekiel 38, 16. And thou, tall about this army,
Magog, thou shall come up against my people, Israel, as a cloud
to cover the land. it shall be. When is it going
to be? In the latter days. Ezekiel wasn't saying in one
generation or in this generation. He said in the latter days, the
very last days it's going to happen. I will bring these against
my land and this is the reason, that the heathen may know me.
Why is God going to do this and why is he prophesying that the
heathen The unsaved, ungodly nations are gonna know him. Do you realize what an earthquake's
gonna happen in our world? Everyone's saying the last revival's
over. No, it's not. And they try to
say God isn't gonna move again. Don't you know your Bible? Has
Ezekiel's war taken place yet? No, it hasn't. Has Russia fallen
yet? No, it hasn't. But yet it's all
lining up. Do you realize we're heading
towards a day in which God prophesies the heathen are going to know
that I'm God? Something is going to happen
extraordinary. He is going to bring Russia down on the mountains
of Israel. And it's so that you can know
that He is God. When I shall be sanctified in
the Israel, O God, before their eyes. What about verse 23, thus
will I magnify myself and sanctify myself and I will be known in
the eyes of many nations and they shall know that I am the
Lord. Chapter 39 verse 7, so will I
make my holy name known in the midst of my people Israel, and
I will not let them pollute my holy name anymore. And the heathen
shall know that I am the Lord, the Holy One of Israel. And again
chapter 39 verse 21, And I will set my glory among the heathen,
and all the heathen shall see my judgment that I have executed,
and my hand that I have laid upon them. So the house of Israel
shall know that I am the Lord their God from that day on forward. Right at the end of these two
chapters about Ezekiel's war, given all of its details, the
very last verse, chapter 39, verse 29. He says, I have poured
out my spirit upon the house of Israel, saith the Lord God. At the end of Ezekiel's war,
God sends a revival to the city of Jerusalem right at the end
of the war. And he regathers in the last
people from all nations of the Jews. And you know what? Something
is going to happen. It's going to be earth-shaking.
When God makes Russia fall on the mountain of Israel, He is
going to reveal His power. I don't believe He'll change
the political situation of nations. He won't. But do you know what
God's going to do? He's going to move in power in
this generation to glorify His name. And nations, entire nations
are going to know He is God. And the Bible actually prophesies
that after pouring his spirit out on Jerusalem in Israel, that
he's going to revive the Gentiles and he's going to touch the Gentiles.
I believe revival is coming. And you know what? Politics is
going to get worse. Tyranny is going to get worse.
Persecution is going to get worse. Immorality is going to get worse.
Technology is going to intensify. But right in the midst of that,
God is going to reveal himself one last time in this generation. And you know what? God is going
to shake the heavens and the earth again. And God is going
to show himself alive. And he's going to reveal his
power. And right in the midst of one
of the most chaotic hours, God is going to show that He is the
God of the Bible. He prophesied it. And since there's
going to be an hour where people are going to turn on their television,
or turn on their mobile, and they're going to see this great
army fall. And they're going to say, the
Bible says it. The Bible says it. Will you pray
with me here? Lord God, we thank you, God,
that you are the God of the Bible. Even as we see the nations, as
we see everything going on online with television, with these armies
maneuvering, we see the media and the rise of world government,
of these Western powers, playing games with war and with nations. My God, we know that an hour
is coming, that you're going to display your glory and your
majesty and your power, that you're going to save a last harvest,
you're going to send a last revival. That you're going to revive your
church one last time. And my God, I pray, reveal your
power. Lord God, by bringing, Lord God,
rush it to its judgment on the mountains of Israel. We know
that you have an appointed hour, an appointed time. And your purpose
is that your name might be glorified in all of the earth. We give
you praise and honor and glory tonight. You're our wonderful
Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ, risen from the grave, triumphant
over hell and death. And we love you and we praise
you and we bless you in Jesus' mighty name.
