- in the Lord – the person of the Lord
- in the strength of his might – His entire dominion or kingdom
Transition: Being strong, an attribute, is a result of getting stronger, which a process. A process takes work & time.

•In order to lead – you must first learn to follow. Eph 5:21 and following
• In order to be strong – you must first learn to be submissive -- be subject to authority
Transition: The strength of the soldier is dependent upon the strength of the king, and the strength of his kingdom.
BE STRONG – IN THE LORD
Good news! Our king is consistent, he means what he says, he backs up his words with action
