The Subtlety of Satan ~ The Simplicity of Christ!
Series 2 Corinthians
…Eve was unfallen, not a sinner when the serpent seduced her, she had every reason to obey God…and especially Adam…. but Satan by his subtlety was able to deceive Eve from the truth of God to believe his lie!
This is Satan's primary mission against you Christian…. YES, you're saved, BUT he wants to corrupt you in your mind and turn you from Christ to believe his lies!
This is why it is imperative for us as Christians TO KNOW the Word, and like we said on Wednesday, that you BELIEVE what you KNOW to be true of Christ from the Word! And that you turn away from Satan's lies by TRUSTING God's Word!
THIS: So that you wise enough in the Holy Scriptures TO KNOW when you are hearing a false teacher, one who is (by subtlety) trying to undermine your faith in Christ, and in the gospel of Christ! Matthew 13:24-28, 38
