The Unity of the Spirit
Series Galatians
Lord, we bow together in Your presence; Your holiness calls our congregation to humble ourselves and repent. You are holy, holy, holy, Lord God, Almighty, but we are unclean, prideful, and in need of cleansing. We come before You through the atonement of Your Son, Jesus Christ the Savior. He stood between us and Your holy wrath and, even now, stands as our righteousness in Your presence. We long that You, by the power of the resurrection of Christ, would enable us to think, live, and speak in a way that glorifies You.
Fill us with the Holy Spirit. Help us to restore one another when caught in transgression. Teach us to deal gently with a sinning brother or sister in all humility, considering ourselves lest we also fall. Restrain us from a censorious spirit. Save us from striving and quarrels. Protect us from self-deception, and enable us to judge ourselves so that we are not judged.
May Christ, our Head and Husband, be exalted in our church family!
We pray this in the Name of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, one God, forever and ever. Amen.
