From tiny house to church history (Thomas Huxley)

The purchasing of a small building led to the discovery of the work of Thomas Huxley who had a particular desire to see the local countryside evangelised and won for Christ. He helped with building of at least 9 local chapels and personally paid for two of them with his own cash.
What a need we have in these days to once again reach out into the spiritual desert all around us in the UK, and Thomas Huxley, a man unknown to most is a great witness and example to all.
