Mission

Friends, do we feel the urgency of our gospel mission this morning, or are we too content in our comfortable American lives to notice that every person who comes across our path every single day is a person with an eternal soul that will face a holy God on that great and final day of judgment. Are we too busy share the gospel of Jesus with our family and our neighbors? Do we feel the weight of this mission? I worry sometimes about us – myself first of all – that we're a little too comfortable just coming to church and having these great Christ-exalting worship services, but then don't take his gospel beyond these doors. We have a mission. It is given to us and empowered by Christ, and it is requires urgent faith.
