Restoration's Plea

'Acquaint yourself with the joy of your salvation on a daily basis.' The joy of salvation gives strength. This is the restoration that David is pleading for in Psalm 51:12. When he asks God to uphold him with His free spirit, he is saying: Let your Spirit help me--I want reformation, not just restoration. This is sanctification. The next verse will show the results of this reformation.
