Sermon Series Title: Restoring the Future

Brief Overview of Series: The title of this 12-sermon series, Restoring the Future, has been chosen to highlight the fact that the prophetic future, as proclaimed in the Great Awakening (c. 1730–1850), was very different from the eschatology that is popular today. This series restores for Christians today the biblical view of the victorious King Jesus reigning at God’s right hand until His enemies are made His footstool.

Brief Overview of Sermon 5: This Lesson covers the material in Revelation 1-3 concerning the Seven Churches, first group of Sevens in Revelation. The churches are central to God’s plan because they are the official agency for the representation of the Gospel, and all other doctrines of Scripture, to the world through the great commission.
