Do Not Be Afraid

After pronouncing judgment on the northern kingdom (Israel) and recognizing that Judah will be threatened, God describes the remnant. The remnant is not just a small group of escapees but a group that has repented and placed their trust in God. He tells all of Judah not to be afraid because judgment will also come on Assyria. This is all a timely message for those living in fear today.
