How Will They Hear? Passing out Nails
I make these nails. Well, let's be honest, I don't actually make them, but I do alter them, after I buy them at a hardware store like Lowe's. On the back I inscribe a message that says, "He died for all 2 Cor. 5:14!" I then hit them with a little red fingernail polish and they are ready to go.
I use these as a tool to share what Jesus has done in my personal life. That's all they are... a tool to remind me to share my story. How I was a deceived sinner, lost and perishing in my rebellion and sins, condemned under the authority of darkness, because I did not believe God nor His Son, the Lord Jesus Christ. Yet, on a Sunday morning, in July of 1997, Jesus interrupted me and permanently altered my life forever. Why did He send His witness and word to me? Because He and His Father loved me. And to prove His love for His Father and me, He lived, died and was resurrected to redeem and reconcile me to His Father (me, a hostile enemy of all things God at the time), through the life He lived, the blood He shed and the death He died upon the cross. God gave Him to be His own sacrifice for Himself and a substitute for us. You see, in my place, as my substitute, He took my sin and just wrath and judgment upon the cross that God could grant…
