109) Trusting Theology Instead of God - James 2:14-19

It's crucially important that we understand exactly what saving faith is. And so James helps us by giving us two very clear examples of the non-saving kind of faith. We looked at the first one yesterday—the talker. The person who claims to have faith, he thinks he has faith, he places himself in the camp of people who trust the Lord Jesus Christ, but his faith isn't real enough to effect the way he lives his life.

So that's one kind of dead faith. Today James is going to warn us about another kind of non-saving faith. You might have known already that faith is more than what you say. But did you know it's also more than what you believe?
