And as I've said many times, you don't change a lot, so there ain't no box on the door. Just walk on in. Amen. Praise God. Hallelujah. I have your Bibles run over to... But those who walk in the wilderness, brethren, watch as those who walk by All right, you are in Luke now Luke chapter number eight this will be our starting point and our primary place of of hanging around it. Amen? But we're going to go through some more verses too. I want you to get to Luke 8, and we'll read verse 26. Let's all stand when you get there. Luke 8, verse number 26, and we'll read verse 26, 27. We'll pray, dim the lights and stuff, and then we'll go right at it. Amen. But no, look at verse 26. The Bible says this. The Bible says in verse 26, and they arrived at the country of the Gadarenes, which is over against Galilee. and when he went forth to land there met him out of the city a certain man which had devils long time and wear no clothes neither a bow in any house but in the tombs remember on our series true or false and our question tonight is are demons real? Are demons real? Father, I pray for your help tonight. I pray God for your guidance and your direction. I pray God that through the Holy Spirit help me to write the word of truth, the word of God. And Father, help us to realize the truth about devils and demons and Help us to realize about the warfare that we find ourselves in the midst of from day to day It is a spiritual battle is real Real and father as we search the scriptures as we travel down this road tonight I pray God should make it more clearer to us than ever before and that God will praise you that help somebody tonight grab a hold of some truth that may rescue them and from a life of destruction or someone else they know of from a life of destruction and with that father we'll thank you help us and god if i'm leaving anything out yeah take care of that too of course in your son's name we pray jesus amen amen hallelujah give me just a tiny bit of a volume up here on the on the monitors uh that helped me uh yeah this turned out a little bit more amen and then yeah that's good i think that's good yeah that's good right there The Bible says here in verse 27, and when he went forth to a land there met him out of the city a certain man which had devils. Long time. I don't know about you, but I would not want to have devils for a long time. That means you could be miserable for a long time. Amen. Now that word devils in this verse, it means a demonic being. A demonic being. So we see, my dear friends, in this verse that when Jesus was on the face of the earth, there met him a man out of the tombs that had devils or a demonic being. In other words, there were demons, my dear friends, that had possessed this man. Now, before we continue, we need to find out where do demons start? What's the starting place of demons? What are demons? Some folks have suggested that they are wicked or deceased people. That's what some folks think demons are. You know, they go into a house and say, man, you know, it's spooky around here. I mean, there's a ghost around here. We think Uncle John and he's still here. Well, let's find out from a Bible about Where demons, we've already read in the Bible, the Bible said devils are demons. Where do demons come from? What are demons? Now run with me over to Revelations chapter number 12 and verse 4. Look at what the Bible says in Revelations 12. Don't get nervous, we know Revelations, some folks start sweating and you need towels to come out. But look at Revelations chapter number 12 and look at verse number 4. Revelations 12 and verse number 4. The Bible says this when we read verse number, uh, uh, let's read verse number, uh one And there appeared a great and I remember this is what john saw in heaven these visions. He said there appeared a great wonder in heaven a woman clothed with the sun And the moon under her feet and upon her head a crown of 12 stars And she being with child cried Travailing in birth and pain to be delivered the Bible is also and there appeared another wonder in heaven Behold a great red dragon having seven heads and ten horns Seven crowns upon his head and the Bible says and his tail Drew that's not stay with me drew the third part of the stars the Bible says of heaven and did cast them to the earth. And the dragon stood before the woman which was ready to be delivered for to devour her child as soon as it was born. Now just by reading those, not looking up words, you probably have gotten a sneaky suspicion this has something to do with the Lord Jesus Christ. That son about to be born. Well that woman represents Israel. And, of course, the other wonder represents Satan. And then what the Bible says about the third part of the stars of heaven, that represents the angels of heaven that he drew with him. How do you know that? Continue to read down. We'll pick up at verse number seven. The Bible says that there was war in heaven. Michael and his angels, the Bible says, fought against the dragon. Here it is. And the dragon fought in what? His angels now stay with me the Bible says in verse 8 and prevail not Neither was their place found Anymore in heaven and the great dragon was cast out that old serpent called The devil The Bible says, and Satan which deceiveth the whole world. He was cast out into the earth and his angels were cast out with him. So the Bible teaches us, and as you study even further, that that third that was thrown out of heaven or taken out of heaven with him, brought with him, were angels. We call them fallen angels. We also call them demons or devils because they are following the chief devil, which is Satan. So what demons are, are actually fallen angels. Well, how many are there? Well, the Bible tells us that the angels are innumerable. You can't count how many there are, there's so many. So if he takes a third of the angel within, which is what? What percentage is that, somebody? Third, what? 33%. I was worried about that. All right, 33%. So what that means, my dear friends, he's got a large army that's along with him. Now when you and I are attacked in spiritual battle or spiritual warfare, probably 9 out of 10 times, probably 10 out of 10, we're not fighting against Satan himself, but it's some demon or demonic spirit or fallen angel who is the one that's behind the things that are coming our way with that spiritual battle. Now, watch this. We see their starting place. They were up in heaven at one time, and now they are following Satan. Now, we're not talking about Satan tonight, but that's a whole other message. But nonetheless, we know that he wanted to be like God. He wanted to be God. And of course, that don't set well with God, of course, amen, when God created everything. But anyway, so we see that demons are actually fallen angels. They're angels that went along with Satan. Now, these demons These devils, are they just spirits that just wander around? I mean, is that what they do? These angels, these fallen angels, these devils or demons, they have a personality or they are beings. Now let me show you what I mean by that. They have personality, they have character or being. Number one, they have intellect. They ain't stupid, okay? The Bible says and Luke back over to Luke chapter 8 and verse 28. They're not stupid They're not like they just know you see you ever seen Ghostbusters, you know, you had them three and they like all goofy and fall off You know, sometimes we think of them like that. No, no, but the Bible says here The Bible says in verse 28 When Jesus we saw Jesus Went back up. So, you know who's I'm about And when it went forth to man, there made up out of the city a certain man which had devils long time, and wear no clothes, neither abode in any house, but in the tombs. When he saw Jesus, he cried out and fell down before him, and with a loud voice said, What have I to do with thee, Jesus, thou Son of God most high? I beseech thee, torment me not. So the first thing we see here about this demon is that he has intellect or he recognizes Jesus. This microphone don't recognize nobody. It don't have intellect. It don't have reasoning and things of that nature. But demons do. They have intellect. They recognize you. They saw Jesus. But not only that, my dear friends, they spoke. The Bible says in verse number 28, he cried out and fell down before him and with a loud voice said Demons can speak Demons also have intellect Okay, so just because let me say this too Just because you go down there to your local Store where they're going to read your poem and and tell you all about whatever your name is such a number that you folks are Don't be amazed by that kind of stuff Well some of that stuff is a gimmick, but now some of that stuff I'm not going to say is a gimmick. Because Satan knows your security number. He know your mom and daddy. He know what you did yesterday. So don't be amazed, don't be like, ooh, this must be of God. No, just because some of my dear friends is out of the ordinary or supernatural doesn't mean my friends that it comes from God. Okay, so we need to recognize that thing. Now watch this, they spoke. Not only did they speak, but they reasoned with Jesus. The Bible says that they said in verse number 28, What have I to do with thee, Jesus, thou son of God most high? They began to reason with him. So we see my difference. They have personality. They are beings. They're not just some inanimate object or something of that nature. They are a being. They have a personality. But not only that, they have emotions. The Bible says in verse number 28, they said this, I beseech thee, torment me not. They were begging. That's an emotion. You know, you know, Steve, you bet. I mean, that's an emotion. I mean, that's what, that's what that is. Amen. So we see that demons have emotion. Okay. So that, that means my friend, they have personality. They also have will, a will, choice, desire. For one thing, we already saw that they chose to do what? Follow Satan. They didn't have to follow Satan. But they chose to follow Satan. Watch what the Bible says here also. Look down in verse number 32. They were speaking to Jesus, they said this, And there was there a herd of many swine, pigs, feeding on the mountain, and they besought him that he would suffer them, or allow them to enter into them, and he suffered them. He said go ahead. Then with the devils out the man they went out of the man with permission by jesus And entered into the swine and the herd ran violently down a steep place into a lake and were choked Demons are drive you crazy And they're driving a lot of people crazy Some people are actually possessed by demons And some are actually influenced by demons, which we're going to see in a few moments But what we see right here, my friends, I want you to see that they are a personality. They have intellect, they have emotions, they have will, and they are spirit beings as well. That means this, they don't have their own body. Notice what they did, they possessed this man. They left this man and they were given permission to go into these swine. But they don't have a body themselves. How do you know that? Go with me to Ephesians chapter 6 and verse 12. Ephesians 6 and look at verse number 12 who the Bible says here to us in Ephesians 6 verse 12 the Bible says for We wrestle not against what? flesh and blood but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness and high places. For we wrestle not against flesh and blood." And that word wrestle here, my friends, it means this. It means to come back to struggle. Hand-to-hand combat. So in other words, the struggle that I have It's not with a physical, this is going to help somebody. It's not with a physical being. The struggle that I'm having, this battle that I'm having, this combat that I'm in the midst of is a spiritual battle. That person on your job, they can't stand you and you can't stand them. That person in your house, you wish they would get all their stuff and just leave, you know. That person you walk down the aisle with, you wish they would decide that they would say, let's just get a divorce. Or that person, whoever that person might be, we look at them and say, man, that's my problem. That's my issue. That's my pain. That's my hurt. But in reality, it's a spiritual warfare. They may be influenced by him, or in some cases, indwelt by him. But my dear friends, when you realize what it is, it's actually a spiritual battle a spiritual brother Bill and say he'll start trying to watch me eat and all that kind of stuff a little drink. He wants to quit drinking the pop That's really a spiritual battle Those that can't let go I mean it's a physical thing It might be physical, but the battle is spiritual Because when he walked by the refrigerator, he happened to see one of the kids and left a cold can of Coke sitting out, and it's sweating. You know when it's sweating, it's cold. Then all of a sudden, he'd be right back. He said, excuse me. But what happens is this. When you see that Coke, when you see that can sweating, then all of a sudden, a battle starts in here. You know how good that tastes. Can't you imagine just taking that can of Coke and drinking it and then you can feel the acid and all that coming in your throat and just come out and just say, ooh, just good. Sorry, Bill. We're trying to help you here. You're going to run back there first and grab a whole 12-pack of Coke back there. Yeah. But it's a spiritual battle, a spiritual battle. That person you see on your job, that you can't stand, they can't stand you. And God forgot why you can't stand each other. That's a spiritual battle. It's a combat that's taking place. And the Bible says, now let me take this to you before we go any further. We're going to see later, there are folks that we see right here even earlier, there's a man that's indwelt by a demon. But my dear friends, you and I that are blood-bought and born again cannot be indwelt by demons, but we can be influenced by them. How do you know that? He just told us it's a combat. It's a struggle. It's like this. I'll come for a minute, Randall. It's like this. You know, Randall, here is Randall. Now, put your hands up here like we're going to wrestle. Okay. Now, here we are. We're in a struggle. But now Randal is not inside of me, but Randal is outside of me and I'm combating him. I'm struggling, I'm fighting with him. So my dear friends, you have a demon, sorry, demon llama, no, but we have a demon and this demon, my dear friends, is struggling with me, he's battling with me, but as a slave person, he can't live inside of me because I've got another spirit. See, the Holy Spirit lives on the inside of me, so He can't be on the inside of me when that Holy Ghost is on the inside of me. But He will struggle with me. He will battle with me. That's why it's so important for us to build the whole arm of God so we'll be able to stand against the evil day. Hallelujah. I'm trying to be calm and sophisticated here, but watch this. So we see, These demons have personality. They have intellect. They have emotions. They have will. They're spirit beings. But also, we see this too, that demons are powerful. Look with me now, back over to Luke 9, verse 42. Because when you get frustrated, we're going demon chasing. All right? You ever have them boys over in Acts? In fact, let's go there first. Go to Acts chapter number, what chapter is that, Jolene? Look at Acts, which one is it, baby? Chapter 19? Yeah, yeah, yeah. Look at Acts 19. And the Bible says in verse number, my soul. Reverse 11. And God brought special miracles. Now let me pause right here. That in itself So that these guys that are running around here today realize these were special miracles that Paul had. They were beyond the norm. The Bible says here that God wrote special, special miracles by the hands of Paul. So that from his body were brought unto the sick what? Handkerchiefs or aprons and diseases departed from them and the evil spirits went out of them. So we said, oh, that is biblical. But these were special miracles, beyond the norm. And some of them, well, I got that kind of power. I'm going to get me a hanky. I'm going to rub it on me. And you just rub it on you, and then you'll be all right. You'll be healed. Man, what you doing? Get my stuff back. But now watch this in verse 13. Then certain of the vagabond Jews, exorcists. Y'all like scary stuff. Took upon them. We gonna do this too. Took upon them to call over them which had evil spirits. Y'all come over here. And the Bible says, the name of the Lord Jesus saying, we adjure you by Jesus, which Paul preached. And there were seven sons, one of Seba, a Jew, a chief of the high priests, which did so. And the evil spirit answered. Now watch out, this is going to get scary here. And the evil spirit answered and said, now, Jesus, I know. And then he goes on to say, Well, let's do it right away. Jesus, I know. And Paul, I know. But who are you? Who are you? But right now, I'm sorry. I made a big mistake. I'm sorry, I'm gonna... Then the Bible says this, and the man in whom the evil spirit was, leaped on them. Now remember, like I told you, they don't have a body. But that devil they were in, he leaped on them. And the Bible says right here, he leaped on them, and overcame them, and prevailed against them, so they fled out of the house, whoop! That's it! And wounded, I mean, they got a whoopin', didn't they? That demon jumped on them, whooped them, they went out, they were naked, they run down the street wounded, hurt, hurt feeling, hurt everything, amen. So what you trying to say, don't go around talking about, I'm looking for me some demons. No, I'm gonna have me a, I'm gonna get me a exorcist, get you a little, get you a little cross or something, and you know, I'm gonna get them out of there. That's a piece of wood! That's why when you watch them movies, I be sitting there, I be cracking up. I mean, you watch them movies, and the guy come out there, and he be like this, you know? That dude walks up there and grabs that thing, and he be like... You don't meet me in the first place, amen? But anyhow... I mean not y'all, but if you know anybody that mess around, put that stuff down. Ouija boards and all that. Don't leave that stuff alone. I got a good friend of mine right now, a pastor of the church. And at one time, my good friend, he was involved in all that stuff, that witchcraft with those Ouija boards and stuff. He was out there in the cemeteries. And out there looking for all kinds of stuff. And he got messed up there for a little while. And God brought deliverance for him. But don't go messing with that stuff. It's more what you think. You open yourself up to that stuff, you'll find yourself being scared half to death. You won't be able to sleep at night. You'll be sitting there and messing around. I'm going to go in there and cut the lights off. I'm going to go bloody Mary, bloody Mary, bloody Mary. You do that. But nonetheless David's a powerful now look at Luke 9 verse 42 We see power there, but look at Luke 9 42. I gotta write that cuz we have my notes look at Luke 9 42 I know the Bible says here Luke 9 42. We all were done. Look at Luke 9 42. I The Bible says this in Luke 9, 42. The Bible says, we're going to skip through the story a little bit. Here's a guy that has a daughter 12 years old and she lay dying. But as he went, the people thronged him. And of course, you see the woman that had the issue of blood. And we're going to drop down. Oh, I'm in the wrong chapter. That's where the problem is. Look at Luke 9, 42. Where are we at? 42. There we go. 42. And the Bible says here, back at verse 39. And lo, a spirit taketh him, and he suddenly crieth, and it teareth him, that he holdeth again, and bruising him hardly departed from him. And I was sought by the disciples to cast him out, and they could not. And Jesus answered and said, O faithless and perverse generation, how long shall I be with you? Suffer you, bring that son together. And he was yet a coming, and the devil threw him down, and teareth him, Jesus rebuked young clean spirit and healed the child and delivered him again to his father So we see my friends that demons do have power. Okay, we see that but now that demons pervert the Word of God They pervert the Word of God. Run! We gotta run! Look at 1 Timothy 4 and verse 1. 1 Timothy 4 and look at verse number 1. They pervert the Word of God. So we see that demons have a starting place. Demons have personality. Demons are powerful. Demons pervert the Word of God. 1 Timothy chapter 4 and verse number 1. The Bible says this, 1 Timothy chapter 4 verse 1. The Bible says, Now the Spirit speaketh expressly that in latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits and what? Doctrines of devils. The word doctrines means instructions of devils. Some will only believe the truth and be led away by seducing spirits. Every spirit ain't the right kind of spirit. Sometimes, unfortunately, you go into a church and there'll be a different kind of spirit there. It's just different. You're like, man, this feels weird. It don't feel right. Something's not right here. There's a different spirit that's there. That's what it is. And your spirit don't witness with that spirit. Something's wrong here. And we'll look at that in a few moments. But look what it says here. So we see here that the devils have their own doctrines. And they'll twist the word of God. And they'll seduce people. They'll deceive people. And bring them away from the faith. Now now watch this. Also demons promote false religion. Look at 1 John 4 verse 1. 1 John 4 verse 1. The Bible says this, God's Word, 1 John 4, and look at verse number 1. The Bible says, Beloved, believe not every spirit, but do what? Try the spirits. Try means to test, to examine the spirits, whether they are of God. The Bible goes on to say, because many false prophets are going out into the world. Hereby know ye the Spirit of God. Every spirit that confesseth, that acknowledges that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is of God. And every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is not of God, and that is what the spirit of who? Antichrist. That word antichrist means here an opponent of the Messiah. An opponent of the Messiah. The Bible goes on to say, wherever ye have heard that it should come and even now already is in the world. So this is, I'm talking about the Antichrist, but there's many Antichrists or those who are opponents or oppose the Messiah or oppose the Lord Jesus Christ. And they are here today. Just because somebody says, I'm a church. I was watching, I forgot what channel it was on. How many of y'all remember Jim Jones? Jim Jones. Nine hundred and something people committed suicide. And he took them over there to Guyana. He took them over there and told them we're going to have a utopia and there'll be no fighting, there'll be no stealing, all this kind of stuff. And he's the very man that had them to drink that Kool-Aid and kill themselves. And men were also forced to take it. And some of them were shot and killed. There's only a very minor, I believe it was nine of them had a state previous to that as all that stuff was taking place when I was watching the show yesterday. But here's this guy, had a Bible now. But yet, my dear friends, he was teaching all kinds of stuff. He was okay to sleep with young children and young girls. He was teaching all this kind of stuff. He was a wicked person, but he used a Bible to twist and manipulate people's minds. That's why it's so important when someone stands up here and preaches the Word of God, make sure they're preaching from the Word of God. And you have your Bible out to check and see if it actually says what it says and they're not twisting the precious Word of God. Check it out in the Bible, amen. Well, you don't have your Bible, have your Bible closed? You don't know what they're talking about. You want to know what does the Word of God have to say? There's all kinds of cults, all kinds of crazy stuff out here. And the Bible says it's going to happen, and it actually happened today. And believe me, these demons are behind all that stuff. They're behind all this stuff. All right, we got to hurry up. Here's my last one. Demons, though, they're powerful, they work the Word, they promote false religion. But here's some good news. Demons are powerless against Jesus. We've been in the dark too long. Let's come out to the light. Amen. Look with me over to Matthew 17 verse 14. Matthew 17 verse 14. So you might know somebody that's possessed or somebody that's oppressed by some demon but just realize that Jesus is all-powerful and they are powerless against the Lord Jesus Christ. Look at what the Bible says here in Matthew 17 and look at verse number 14 and then we're gonna head back and get us some Mexican food. Look what it says here in Matthew 17 and look at verse number 14. The Bible says this, Lord, where we at? Well, we'll start there at 15. Lord, have mercy on my son, for he is a lunatic. How many folks say amen to that? Amen. No, I'm just kidding. Don't say that. That child's a lunatic. No. My son is a lunatic and sore vexed. For often times, he falls in the fire and off in the water. And I brought him to my disciples, and they could not cure him. Then Jesus answered, said, O faithless and perverse generation, how long shall I be with you? How long shall I suffer you? Bring him hither to me. And Jesus rebuked the devil, a demonic being, and deported out of him. And the child was cured from that very hour. Then came the disciples to Jesus apart and said, why could not we cast him out? Pause. He just got some that is demonically possessed. It's destroying his life. They go to disciples, they can't help him. Jesus does. Then they said, why couldn't we could? I saw this today and I about did a back and flip for real. Look what the Bible says here. They said, why could we could not do this? And Jesus said to them, because of your unbelief. Prevailing I say unto you. Let's read this real slow. If you have faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye shall say unto this mountain. I said, wait a minute. They asked a question. Why could we could not do this here? He was possessed. Why could we couldn't do this? And he said, because of your unbelief. And he said, this mountain I said, ooh. This mountain, what is a mountain? Is a stumbling block. A mountain is something, my friends, that is in your way. And the Bible says right here that he said to them, hey, ye shall say unto this mountain, remove his to yonder place, and it shall remove, and nothing shall be impossible to you, how being this kind goeth out but by prayer and fasting. This mountain that they were facing, that young man that was possessed. He said, you need to believe. And it takes prayer and fasting. I was like, wow. It makes a big difference when you start believing things just a little bit slower. Because we all have mountains. This was a mountain that they were facing. And they needed to believe, my dear friends. But in addition to believing, they needed to pray as well as fast. Now you might know somebody that you may be suspecting that's influenced by demons. Or you may know someone who you suspect may be indwelt by a demon. But if we want to see that person delivered and rescued, then we need to believe that God can do it. Then we might need to go a step farther and fast and pray for that person's deliverance. We used to have time, it used to, it clicked one day when I was, it actually clicked when we was over in Belgium. And when we was over in Belgium, I kept looking at all these different stores and stuff saying lounges and stuff there. It said spirits, get your spirits here. It just clicked for me that day. That's what it is. Alcohol is a spirit. It affects, does not Jesus, does not the Bible compare being drunk with wine, being filled with spirit? When a person is controlled by any type of drug or any type of alcohol, that's a spirit that has a hold of that person. And the enemy uses that, my friends, to put people in bondage and oppression. And they can't find deliverance. And we need to start praying, believing, and even perhaps fasting for that person to get some type of deliverance. There's all kinds of stuff out here that demons are using. to destroy people's lives, but they are powerless when they come face to face with the Lord Jesus Christ. When my addiction was broken with the alcohol, the cocaine, and all that stuff that I had in my life, do you know what it took to do that? It took Jesus Christ to do that. I tried to do it on my own, but I could only do it for a little while, you know, and it would be right back doing the same old stuff. But when Jesus took that desire away, when Jesus took that hunger away, when he took that longing away, don't want it no more. Don't need it no more. I got a better high than that now. Glory to God. It's a good high, my friends. By the way, when I wake up in the morning, my bed ain't spinning. But my heart is moving. Hallelujah. Listen to this. Go over to Luke 8, verse 35, and we're done. Luke 8, verse 35. Demons are powerless against Jesus. Luke 8, 35. The Bible says this, verse 34, and when they that fed them saw what was done, they fled and went and told them to sit in the country. They went out to see what was done. And they came to Jesus and they found the man of whom the devils, I love this word here, were departed, sitting at the feet of Jesus, clothed And in what? His right mind. How many of us, don't raise your hand, but know people who are not in their right mind? You know them. You've known them for a long time. And you're looking at them and saying, the way they're behaving, the way they're acting, conducting themselves, this is not them. They're not being themselves. Something's wrong here. We know what's probably wrong, my friends, or possibly what's wrong. Perhaps, my friends, they are being oppressed, or perhaps they're being attacked, or perhaps the devil's riding their back, or maybe even entwining that person that's causing them to not be themselves. They're not in their right mind. Their mind's not straight. Their mind's not right. And that's where the battleground is at, right here in our mind. And the enemy will attack your mind and my mind. He'll do his best to confuse us, to tear us apart. But hallelujah, we've got a God that knows exactly how to bring us deliverance. That's why I'm so happy that when they couldn't take care of that dumb boy, what'd they do? They found Jesus. Said, Jesus, we could, I got this. Maybe, I'm about to have a spell. Maybe. You ain't got the faith you need. Maybe you can't pray fast like you need to. You know what you do? You get on your knees and say, oh God, I can't, but you can. God, you can bring deliverance in that person's life. You can bring rescue in that person's soul and their spirit. You can break the bondage that they find themselves in the midst of. God, you can do what I can't do. Confess your weaknesses. Don't pretend like them guys, well, I got this. OK. They're going to jump on you. And you'll be running around saying, why are they running around naked? They tried to do some things that they could not do. They didn't have the power or the ability to do. What about demons, Preacher? Demons are real. Demons are fallen angels. Demons are controlled by the chief demon or devil which is Satan the the old serpent is the Bible calls him as well He is their commander They follow his instructions but at the same time They can't do anything either though To you or I unless it's permitted With them demons saying, we're going to leave this guy, but can we go to the swine? Can you do that? Can we go over there? They had to get permission. What I'm trying to show you is that God still has power over demons. He has power over devils. That's why it's important to call on his name. One question we're done. The question simply is, has the demons of Satan been harassing you? Have the demons of Satan been harassing you? If they've been harassing you, Let's do like those guys, the guy did. He said, them disciples couldn't do a thing. You can go to him and say, that preacher couldn't do a thing for the Lord, but I'm coming to you. I need rescue. You know what he'll say? He'll wipe the way. I got this. Father, thank you for giving me a wonderful blessing. I've done my best to convey the message that you laid upon my heart to give to the precious souls that have gathered here today. And I pray God we realize that we have a real life enemy. Satan, of course, but primarily the ones that are affecting us primarily are demons, devils, fallen angels. Father I pray Lord that you'd help us to grab a hold of your strength Lord to be able to combat the enemy when he comes to us and I help us to realize that our co-workers They're not the real enemy Lord our spouses our family members our moms our dads our children our cousins our uncles and aunts They're not the real enemy. There's someone behind the scenes that's influencing them to behave in ways they're behaving so God help us to know how to have the wisdom to be able to combat that and receive victory and I pray God there's anyone that's here tonight that needs to come talk to you about anything. Maybe had nothing to do with this message whatsoever. Not one thing. But they're going to come talk to you in prayer. I pray that they come. Whatever the needs are of the people, God help us to respond and to trust you to meet our needs. For it's in your son's name we do pray, Jesus. Amen. Amen. Let's all stand.
